It has fast dry technology that wicks away sweat for comfort, it fights odors, has full-facial protection and its flat- seam construction enhances comfort as its protection extends below the neckline. Designed for use in cold weather under hard hats, our helmet-liner mask comes in a 92% polyester/8% spandex blend with a fleeced interior for warmth. Offering full facial protection, the mask pulls down below the chin when not needed and includes a moisture-wicking inner finish. Flat-seam construction enhances comfort and its protection extends below the neck line.

When I first got this thing, I compared it to my neoprene facemask I use for biking. I didn’t think it would be very useful. It doesn’t break the wind very well. And it’s not thick and warm like a polar fleece. But, if you are at all active, it’s the perfect tool for the chill out of the air. I wear it in my unheated garage all the time. I wear it all night walks. I wear it when biking in the spring and fall. It fits under a hat. It fits under a bike helmet. My only beef is I wear it a lot so it gets sweaty a lot I have to wash it by hand. But that’s a small price to pay for a terrific tool. Update:October 2019- I ordered a second one of these. When this one came it was a totally different fabric. It was more of the neoprene that I had originally expected. It is much warmer than the first one I ordered. The fabric on the first one I ordered seems much cheaper than this more neoprene-like fabric. They both have their purposes, but for real winter protection I prefer the second one. When I got this I thought it seemed too thin and had my doubts that it would be warm, but yesterday I wore it at work and it worked great! I was working outside for about 5 hours straight with a wind chill at 17 degrees and it kept my head warm the whole time. It fits a hair drug but I have a huge head so I’d say it would work fine for about anybody. It’s also very stretchy, I honestly forgot I was wearing it so it’s pretty comfortable.
