Description

In competitive gaming, every frame matters. Introducing Acer's XF Series gaming monitor - the WQHD resolution monitor that can keep up with your game play. Through AMD FreeSync technology, the game’s frame rate is determined by your graphics card, not the fixed refresh rate of the monitor, giving you a serious competitive edge. Plus, users can enjoy comfortable viewing experience while gaming via flicker-less, low dimming and ComfyView display. The design saves space on your desk and lets you place multiple monitors side by side to build a seamless big-screen display. (UM. HX0AA. C03)

  • Great overall gaming monitor
I game a lot, and also stream on twitch, and this monitor has been great for me. I haven't had any issues with it. I've had it for 1.5 years and still works perfectly fine after over 3k hours of usage (at least). No issues with screen tearing or dead pixels. I've played multiple games on it: Warzone, CoD MW & Cold War, Halo, Apex, Rocket League, Assassin's Creed, League of Legends, Rogue Company and they all look/work/function exceptionally well. I'm pretty good at video games and this monitor has not limited me from becoming a better gamer. It is a bit heavy (relatively), but I don't move it much so unless you plan on moving it often that shouldn't be too much of an issue. The built-in speakers aren't that good of quality, but usually you don't buy a gaming monitor for the audio. There is a headphone jack, so I just plug in some regular headphones when I'm chilling, then I have my gaming headset connected to my computer for when I game. Overall, pretty good monitor for gaming and I would recommend this to anyone. I know there are better ones with higher FPS and with 4k, but if you're looking for a solid first/starting gaming monitor, then this one is a great one to go with. ... show more

  • G5 Odyssey KILLAAA! THIS MONITOR IS THE BEST TN I'VE EVER OWNED
Size: 27-inch WQHD (2560x1440) 144Hz
I bought 2 G5 odyssey monitors, Bought a 32 and then 27 both had issues please go see my review. However, I had Acer monitors before but never their TN models, only their VA models. So, I missed my old ASUS TN monitor and now I decided to back to TN after the VA Samsung issues...Thank the big guy upstairs I switched. Immediately the input lag is non existent, there next to no delay playing on a console or PC. Also, ZERO Ghosting which was a huge issue on the Samsung Odyssey. Then the colors, oh my. The colors for a TN Monitor are amazing, and I was honestly impressed. The stand? Probably the most sturdy and flexible stand I've used. Then here's the part where I stay cracking up..this monitor is roughly 50 USD less than the odyssey. So imagine that! Like other reviews have stated, I am blown by the TN Model of this monitor. I did not want the IPS Monitor so those complaining about that, learn to read an item description. Acer changed panels with the same panel name, the only difference is the IPS one has a "z" in that alien language title they got going on. Besides that, BUY THIS MONITOR ESPECIALLY FOR GAMING. THANK ME LATER. ... show more

  • Didn't Live Long
Size: 27-inch WQHD (2560x1440) 144Hz
Although expensive, Acer XF270HU Cbmiiprx 27” WQHD (2560 x 1440) TN AMD FreeSync Gaming Monitor because I was looking for something with a 144hz refresh rate. For two years and four months, I would have rated this monitor 5 stars. However, yesterday in the middle of working, the monitor just went white, but my other, MUCH older monitors were fine. Turns out the monitor is dead. That's really disappointing to me, considering how much I spend on the thing. My other monitors are 5-10 years old and going great. ... show more

  • Great 1440p 144hz Monitor
Size: 27-inch WQHD (2560x1440) 144Hz
Went from a asus 24in 1080p 144hz monitor to this one. Huge difference. There are very small bezels with this monitor except for the bottom where the buttons lie (which doesn't really matter to me). The color is a bit off but I really haven't had the time really to mess with those settings. Has cross hairs for FPS games but can't change the color (at least I haven't found out) from white. Vesa mounted. Using a VIVO triple monitor setup for this/ Putting the back bracket into the monitor fit perfect. When trying to slide the monitor onto the stand itself was a bit tough as the back bracket is inside the monitor and couldn't really slide it on. had to take the bracket off and slide it onto the mount then screw on the monitor. I haven't found anything on here with 240hz. Came with a great sturdy base and stand as well as a display port cord. Will update review as time goes on with the monitor. No dead pixels, no backlight issues. Packaged really well. Would recommend. Especially if you're using a 1080p/720p monitor. ... show more

  • Solid monitor, low response time.
Size: 27-inch WQHD (2560x1440) 144Hz
So far so good. I previously had the 1080p version of this but jumped up to 1440p since I have the gpu power now. Both monitors worked great for gaming. Not the most vibrant colors in the world, but very responsive for fps gaming. Tried a different 1440p monitor (Samsung g5 I think), but it had horrendous ghosting every time I moved. Made the picture look muddy. With this the blacks aren't as deep, but the picture stays crisp and clean even when making quick movements. I would highly recommend this for any gaming where high refresh rate, and quick movements are needed. ... show more

  • Great Monitor Worth the Money
I didn't even realize this monitor was Nvidia G-Sync Compatible when I bought it but it is. Amazing monitor for the money. No issues I've had so far (Had it 3 months). Only issue I ever had was a split screen on boot but a simple restart fixed it right up. Picture looks great, whether I'm gaming or watching youtube/netflix or whatever else. I play mostly Rainbow Six Siege and it looks great on the monitor. With my 1080 I run it on max settings and get around 240 constant frames on the monitor. It always looks smooth. My friends can tell the difference when they come over as well. I got it on sale for 220 but even at full price this monitor is worth it. Edit: the smaller one is 240 hz the bigger one is 144hz I didn’t know that when I bought it but still works fine ... show more

  • Great gaming montior
this is a really good monitor for gaming 144hz gsync all works great picture is pretty decent, but for the price you cant expect a great picture with 144hz and gsync, have had the issue where the screen turns black when using DP cable once, apparently these have an issue with the DP and causes the screen to go black randomly, thankfully it has only happened once since owning it (about 9 months), sadly i did get a single dead bright white pixel in the upper right hand corner and its quite annoying but it is only one, ... show more
