This is an amazing monitor and I am so happy with it. I bought this because I do work at home, at an office and sometimes I go to my gf house and stay there. I am used to double monitor setup so this pairs excellent with my 17" laptop. Image quality is really good. I love how easy is to setup and just use, just pull out the tripod and with a snap you are all set. Also the included bag has enough space to carry a laptop in there. I know this is a gaming monitor but I haven't played many games on it. I tried CS2 and the 240 Hz at it looked really fluid. Sorry I can't comment in gaming capabilities, I bought this as an utility monitor to carry around and I choose this because I was getting way more specs for a few more dollars than the competition. I really recommend this monitor for someone who doesn't have a fixed space to work/game and is constantly moving around. This monitor is lightweight, easy to assemble and has excellent image quality.

This is hands down my favorite and the best portable screen I have ever owned. Trust me when I say, I have owned about 10 other screens before this one. The picture quality is clear and the built in speaker is surprising loud for its size. I really like the included tripod. Most of these screens you see online only have a screen protector case that folds a certain way to allow you to view a few viewing angles and it can be quite low at time in terms of height. You kind of have to look down on most of these screens which gets a bit old on the neck. The included tripod adds height and tilt for you viewing comforts. I have this screen set up just above my Surface Pro 7 and it works brilliantly. I have thrown some triple AAA titles on the go with other laptop [gaming laptop MSI with RTX 3080] with it to see how it would handle gaming and once again I am surprised. The refresh rate and quality holds up on the go. I also appreciate the amount of accessories ASUS kicks in, which for the price, they should be included, lol. You get a AC adapter, USB C to USB A adapter, tripod, case that folds for screen protection and viewing angles, a travel bag [larger enough to hold this screen and laptop with some accessories, micro HDMI to HDMI cable, USB C to USB C cable. To hesitant buyers I would say, just buy this monitor. There are some negative feedbacks out there, but I feel it's mostly because they received a defective unit. I too got bad screen initially. I returned the screen and pondered if it was a run of bad luck or if they weren't designed as well perhaps. My second order of this screen has been flawless. I have had zero issues with this monitor whatsoever and I think I can't go back to just a regular screen with less features. A word of advice: If you can get this item renewed, get it. I did and it works great. I have owned this new and renewed and didn't see any differences. The screen came in same box with all accessories and no scratches or scrapes in my case. I also highly recommend getting the warranty. Even adding the warranty to this renewed device will not make this transaction more expensive than purchasing this item new. The benefit is you get the screen for much less and with years or warranty you can't get if you purchase this item new. Just a thought, definitely not required, but the screen is not exactly 'cheap'. Lasted me 3.5 years, 3 deployments & a marriage at sea. Its light enough to be able to Velcro glue ANYWHERE and i do not say that lightly. Currently used it as a mini car TV for breaks with my PS3 & a battery pack and holds up for a solid 2 hours as long as the brightness is at its lowest setting, sound is off or very low or plugged off to an external speaker. I.ve dropped it, abused it & have been leaving it baking in both the Texas sun and Miami sun and it ran just fine until my dog decided to start chew on it in the back seat. Aside from my Bose speaker, its the hardiest item I owned.

Fell forward on the desk because of the poorly designed magnet base, and completely busted. The is the worst product from ASUS I've ever owed, and I've been buying ASUS computers for 8 years. Never again will I buy a monitor. The monitor doesn't come on with power, input, & HDMI connection Since purchase, the monitor 50% of the time or more, refuses to come on. It doesn't detect the HDMI connection with the brand new cord. I will buy more cords, because maybe ASUS sent a defective cord, but after reading other reviews I believe this to be a manufacturing defect in the monitor. I love ASUS, but this is an expensive monitor to not work. This monitor is more trouble than the money is worth.

This monitor is great. The picture is clear and the battery life is great. It is expensive but there isn't much else like it. People mentioning the tripod is flimsy must have gotten a different trypod. It is weighty! and very sturdy. Propping it up on the cover feels dangerous, I definitely recommend the tripod. The carrying case is basically a cheap $5 soft cover bag. If you can afford to overpay a bit for portability, this is great.

If oyu are in need of a standard 1080P display with a high refresh rate, this is the one for you. But also consider the features that it is lacking. 1. It does not have a touch interface. Since this can be used on cell phones and tablets, a touch interface is really a must with those use cases. Otherwise, you must rely on an external keyboard and mouse to be able to use it. Not an issue with a MacBook Pro or other laptop that is also lacking a touch interface, but it is nearly 2025. 2. When using as a third monitor through USB-C, it drains the battery on my MacBook Pro like nobody's business. It is not very usefule when only using the USB-C. I recommend sticking with the power brick for USB-C and using the HDMI cable with a USB-C adapter on the Mac to save lots of strain on your battery. My laptop went to low power mode within two hours when it typically holds a charge all day. This was with normal office work and no gaming. 3. The kit with the optional stand is the way to go. If there is any tension on the cables, it will cant to the side a bit. Make sure there is enough slack in the cables to prevent this. A tighter back mount would also prevent this, but that would require a redesign. 4. It is limited to 1080P. For the price, I would have preferred 4K. But with COVID supply chain issues, I understand why they might be lagging on getting affordable 4K options out there. 5. The colors are crisp and clear. Blacks are really black. This monitor is my prefered go-to even over the Retina display because of the higher refresh rate. I typically require a minimum of 144Hz to reduce migraine triggers. I can see the flicker in 60Hz displays. I have no issues with filicker on this monitor. 6. Power standby remains off when plugging in or power cycling the computer. The monitor does not come back on on its own as it should when it sees a signal across the input port. This might be fixed in firmware at a later date, but it is still an issue.
