  • So worth!!!
FANTASTIC FOR THE PRICE! I can run every game I want, hooked it up to a giant widescreen for when I’m not at work. Zero issues using for big projects in blender, and unity. Definitely upgrade the ram and SSDs but man for the price this is truly a steal! Also get rid of the bloatware when you get it. No issues after a month and have loved the experience! ... show more

  • RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop That Truly Replaces a Desktop
This is a very powerful laptop with an impressive display, and it’s not even as thick as I expected. In fact, it’s slightly thinner than the Legion 5 I upgraded from, which I bought about six years ago. The keyboard, touchpad, and battery life were not major factors in my purchasing decision, as I use this laptop primarily as a desktop replacement connected to an external monitor. In the Time Spy benchmark, it scores around 17,600 on average, which is better than many laptops with similar specifications. I was expecting a little more, but at the end of the day, it’s just a benchmark. In real-world gaming, however, the performance exceeded my expectations. In modern games such as BF6 and MW3, the visuals are excellent, and very few compromises are needed. Even when adjustments are necessary, I prefer using High settings instead of Ultra and slightly lowering demanding options such as shadows. There’s no need to push everything to the extreme. Modern DLSS technology is excellent, and I can easily achieve well over 100 FPS. BF6 is more CPU-demanding than MW3, yet both games run exceptionally well. I purchased this laptop primarily for FPS gaming, and I’m happy to say it performs even better than I had hoped. I use it as my main gaming station, connected to a 34-inch ultrawide monitor running at 3440×1440 resolution. This setup requires even more GPU power than the laptop’s native display, yet it still delivers excellent gaming performance. The laptop sits on a slim cooling pad, which I believe is important for maintaining healthy operating temperatures. I’m also happy with my decision to choose a GPU with 12GB of VRAM for future-proofing. From what I’ve seen so far, 16GB of system RAM is still sufficient for today’s games, making the overall specifications feel very well balanced. Overall, this was an expensive purchase, especially when buying online, but it was absolutely worth it. This is my first experience with an Acer product, and I’m very impressed. Great job, Acer. ... show more

  • Best value gaming laptop w/ 5070ti
A great computer but it has an issue with the USB-C Ports. This is a very common problem with these laptops. Other than that, the RTX NVIDIA 5070ti is a beast! Good value for the money. It comes with a solid Intel Core ultra 9 which is fast enough. In terms of noise, it could get quite loud when over clocking CPU an GPU which also increases the amount of heat coming out of the system. I really like the size and weight and the battery last about 2hrs of regular use (working or studying but not gaming) ... show more

  • noob revioo
Love it 💖 Maybe in part due to never owning anything close to as powerful as this(lifelong console gamer) but wow. Blown away entirely at performance. I also know very little about computers anyway so I bought a [not very cheap] external cooling fan so I could never have to worry about what everyone else here seems to be complaining about and so far it has been excellent and haven't had a single issue with overheating, though i assume it does get hot without the external fan, so please invest in one!! If you're already cool with dropping over 1.5k on a laptop, I prithee you can spend another hundred for something that keeps it alive! I could not have been happier to buy it on Prime Day too, so got it a few hundred bucks off what it would have been anywhere else. 💪 ... show more

  • Software issue + freezes + crash
Constant crashes. The laptop turns itself off when it is supposed to sleep. It also freezes in sleep as well almost everyday. I am hard resetting/powering on or off more than 4 times a day.

  • great laptop for gaming, only purchase if you are more focused on performance then portability.
a fantastic piece of technology. extremely high performance for a laptop. definitely surpassed my expectations. the only real downside is the pre installed bloatware, had to do a clean windows 11 install and the battery isn't amazing. but thats to be expected considering its a full fat 5070 ti and a full fat 275hx with no limitations. The screen is wonderful, extremely smooth as is to be expected from a 240hz display. Overall, im very satisfied with my purchase. 1 think to note, is that this laptop does come with 2 8gb 6400mt/s csodimm sticks. but it is definitely not enough. 32 gb upgrade is highly recommended. For the price i paid not including shipping. 1620 usd is a fantastic price, so definitely wait for it to go on sale. ... show more

  • Takes some work.
Sounds great on paper. Save yourself the headache and start with a BIOS update and a FRESH windows install. It'll seem to work fine if you don't but after that first windows update oh lawd will the frustration be palpable. A ton of bloatware. Screen doesn't dim as much as it's like as I'm a mostly night tone user. It does have a 2nd m.2 slot. All of the basement bolts are the same size. Gets a bit loud in turbo mode but functions well enough in performance mode. It otherwise works alright. I was on the brink of returning this or taking it out back and having that "office space" scene. I wouldn't recommend this laptop for someone uncomfortable with updating bios (a.exe so kinda nice & easy) and doing a fresh windows install. For fresh windows install: Hold shift when restarting from start menu Use options on boot to install clean os from cloud. Oobe bypass recommended. ... show more

  • love it but needs extra work
its a great laptop but for gaming.. especially if your social you need more ram i get ram crisis but you cant run less then 32 gigs as a consumer.. unless you dont like music while your playing hate talking to friends and need things open on the side if you hate all that stuff while playing games then yes 16 gigs is enough but if you do either buy an extra kit or skip this *update if you do upgrade the ram the bios NEEDS to be updated. when i first put in the new ram i was crashing alot it stopped after a bios update. luckily acer has one of the easiest bios updaters just able to do it from the desk top need a special screw driver to get in a T6... and then another one for the nvme also idk if this was a mistake during manufacturing or what but when i put another nvme in the other slot it took over as the main one... sooo either they put the main drive in the wrong slot or computers just prioritize new drives either way the bios setting wont let me change this. cause it tell you use the arrow keys to highlight a drive and f6 too change the order but all f6 does is highlight a new drive xD im not tech savvy enough for this and not enough time to fiddle ... show more
