  • Good fit for curvier shapes
Color: Navy Blue Size: Small
Nice weight pant, not see through at all. I thought the legs would be a little wider, but they still look nice. I am 5'7" and 135 pounds and a pear shape and the small *just* fits. It might be a hair small around the hip, so the pleats open up just a little, but it's not bad. I'm just excited it fits my waist and is pretty close to my hip as well. I am perfectly between a size 6 and 8, so the best size totally depends on brand. I also have a short waist and longer legs and the regular length hits right at the top of my foot. I hope that helps some of you trying to decide on sizing. Understand that this is fast fashion, but within that category, it's on the higher end and looks like it will hold up well. I'd recommend it as a good value. ... show more

  • Must buy
Color: Grey Size: X-Small
These slacks are a bargain!! Great fit, very nice fabric and well made. Look like very expensive slacks, also look very nice on. Only thing I would point out is the button flap on the waist doesn’t sit perfectly flat as another review mentioned, but wearing a belt solves that minor issue. Will definitely order in more colors!! ... show more

  • The Right Fit Without Spending A Fortune
Color: Beige Size: X-Small
These are (mostly) what I have been looking for. I have pants that are boot cut with straight legs, skinny pants, bell bottoms, yet could not find pleated dress trousers with wide legs that didn’t make me look like a box. Most wide leg dress pants, have the dreaded gathered, elastic waist. Is it really that hard to find pants like this? Apparently so … until I got my hands on these lovelies. The search is now over. First off, the fabric. It is definitely substantial, with zero see-through factor. Additionally, because of its weight, the legs drape beautifully, and flow when walking. To those who have faulted the legs for not tapering, this is the precise meaning of the term "wide leg" pants, as written in the title description. Wide legs are meant to fit very loosely, to move fluidly as you walk. Of course, they may be an acquired taste, and therefore might not work for everyone, don’t know. They don’t fit or feel like any other style/leg width. Secondly, the fit is spot-on for me. I am 5’5" 110 pounds, and I love it when manufacturers offer XS size. Almost always, XS gives me the fit I want, and make me happy because I don’t end up having to buy a Small, then have to do extensive alterations. These trousers were no exception. Pictures were taken when trying them on, right out of the package. The waistband is right about 1-2" bigger than mine, so tucking in layers is no problem. The length is perfect with 2"-3" heels. Since they are dressier, I will most likely always wear them with heels of some sort. The beige color is just what I needed to fill in the only hole in my wardrobe neutrals. In order to extend the leg and help give the visual illusion that I have long legs, I will wear them with nude shoes. That’s the secret to making wide legs work for you. The cardinal rule is "extend" the leg. Dark pants, dark footwear (even better if you can match,) light pants, light shoes to match. In fact, the closer you can come to your pants color, the better. The idea is to give the eye one unbroken line from waist to floor. It really helps a lot if you can wear them with hems that are close to skimming the floor, maybe 1/2"-1" above it when you have the shoes you will wear with them on. No ankle-length here, if you’re interested in looking like you have more slender, longer legs. The only quibble I have with these is the hook-and-eye closure on the waist. They applied only one in the middle of the waistband. Because of the waistband width, obviously two were necessary, both north and south in order to lend a tailored look with clean lines. Moreover, the closure needs to be sewn at the very end of the band, not an inch in. As it is, it makes for a somewhat sloppy looking closure, with the end of the band sticking out; not a great look. You can see it in the straight-on photos below, just under the belt. It doesn’t match the quality of the construction in the rest of these pants. As for now, I will wear them with a belt to minimize that area, as shown in the pictures. Eventually, I will take the current closure off, get another hook-and-eye, and sew them both back on, making sure the closure is at the very end, I order to make the waist closure neat and finished. Fortunately, that is the only alteration these will need. Highly doable. Until I get the motivation, however, the belt will work. The pictures are shown with a white sleeveless silk shell and a fitted, magenta Express Portofino shirt. I am loving the fit, but of course, YMMV. If you have been searching for a pair of dress slacks with that chic, nouveau Italian look, these just might be worth a try. ... show more

  • Nice pants but with a few flaws
Color: Brown Size: Small
These are nice looking pants. The material feels nicer than what it is, not flimsy and not see through. I really like the color - a warm brown. They fit really well at the waist. I’m 5’7” 120lbs, with a 26”waist. The pants are a tad too short, they are not crop length either. They would work nicely with flats but that’s about it. When I put on sneakers that tend to have a thicker sole, I’d need the pants to be about an .5 -1 inch longer. Forget about wearing these with heels, way too short. There’s about 1/2 inch that can be unhemmed if needed, but is it worth the time/$$? However, they did cut some corners with the construction, for example the seams on the hem are typically invisible on dressy pants, however on these, they didn’t bother with that level of detail and just sewed a basic stitch on the hem all the through which makes it look cheap and low quality. All my other dress pants from Ann Taylor, Bebe, Cache, even old Express pants all have invisible hems which is a much cleaner look. Second issue is with the waistband tab - the tab once closed sticks out quite a bit which it is not supposed to do that. It seems that here again whoever made these pants was not a professional because on a waistband tab that’s as wide the one on these pants, they should have used two hook + bar closures instead of just one. Plus, the hook + bar closures should have been placed closer to the end of the tab as well to prevent it from sticking out. Again comparing to my existing pants that have the same waistband closure detail, these are clearly “cheaply” made and it shows. ... show more

  • Not true to size
Color: Black Size: Medium
My usual sizes are 6 and 28, I'm 5'3" 139lbs, ordered a small based on the size chart shown and customer reviews, very, very tight, I went up to Medium and they fit perfectly however the length is very long. I first ordered/received size S (regular) and the waist size is too tight, I ordered a size M (regular) and size M (short), the waist is perfect but they're too long so I am now waiting for size M (short) to arrive, I'll edit once received. I ordered in the color black, love the color, love how thick and good quality the material is, the pleating. It is not sheer, it's a pretty thick, weighty material, just what I was looking for, very great quality all around, highly recommend, I will be ordering in more colors, I just wish the sizing wasn't so off, I dislike having to return things as I am not used to it. Edit: I received the M Short and although it took me some days to convince myself that they didn't fit well I finally returned them. I don't know there was something about them, what kind of sizing are these? They fit everyone else perfectly, mine just looked wrong in every which way, they're very wide from top to bottom, they don't look flared as depicted. They looked okay with sneakers but not with flats. ... show more

  • Good for tall people(very professional)
Color: Black Size: Large Long
Perfect size. I got the large long. Great for if you’re 5’10 to 6’2. It is maybe one to 2 inches large in the waist. But definitely can be high waisted. A belt can fix. It’s no problem. These are very professional , good material.. It’s definitely gender. Neutral works for both genders. Overall great for work. Comfortable size and fabric thickness. ... show more

  • Nice on trend dress trousers.
Color: Chocolate Brown Size: Small
True to size for this relaxed style. I'm 5-4, 117 lbs. I ordered these overnight for an unexpected business meeting when I was out of town. Got the brown pair, as they were available next day. Nice color paired with a white shell and black cardigan. Size small regular (not short or tall). They were the perfect length with a low kitten heel but would work with a flat as well. The rest of the pant was slightly oversized, but that's the relaxed style, and it looks intentional. The fabric is a medium weight, not too thin. Had to iron/steam quite a bit, because they were vacuum packed, so leave time for that. ... show more
