I've had my laptop for about a year now. One time, I had a difficulty turning my laptop on while it got stuck on a black screen. However, I contacted Acer and they were able to help me out. I sent my laptop and they fixed everything free of cost. Other than accidentally spilling some liquid into my keyboard, i've had no problems. It has a powerful dual fan for cooling which is very handy. Gaming on this is pretty good for its price. I can run my games on ULTA if not at the HIGH settings which still runs smoothly due to the overclock setting and ability to adjust the fan power. Though the fan can get a bit loud sometimes, but that's because I game almost 24/7. I would recommend getting an extra external storage SSD though because it can't fit a lot of games that take a lot of GB... you know what im talking about... Modern Warfare...... ... show more

This thing is awesome!! if you are mid game and start to feel your legs warming up and check on the app that the core temps are rising, hit that turbo button and the wind will kick up from the dual internal fans spinning up to max speed, yes it gets a little noisier but it cools down nicely and click the turbo button again and it slowly calms down. this feature should be added to every gaming laptop in my opinion. Then there is the software built in to where you can set profiles or just change the fan speeds at any time and see the rpms in real time as well as your systems internal temperatures, how many laptops come with built in monitoring software that let you see how your system is operating?? now let's talk about expansion, so you get 8gb ram pre installed in the system on the configuration I purchased, I upgraded that to 32gb and you get 512gb m.2ssd which is a good starting point but...there's more, not only does this laptop have expansion available for another m.2 ssd but also a regular size laptop drive which you can put hdd or ssd so you could run up to 3ssd in this one laptop, storage upon storage. Excellent for my gaming. Racing, RPGs mostly. Picture quality is OUTSTANDING. Bright, deep, rich colors like our very best QLED Samsung flatscreens. VAST improvements over any laptop I've ever had, or seen with a flat looking LCD screen. Huge improvement.

Good laptop. I’m able to play World of Warcraft on top settings and get 80-100 FPS with my set up. Had to mess with fan settings a bit to get them customized so it doesn’t get too hot (don’t use their presets they have built in for “gaming general”, “gaming FPS” etc. you kind of have to customize fans to how you’re set up .. on a desk, in bed, on your lap to get the CPS, core and GPU temps you where you want) also bought one of those $30 laptop bed desks with built in fans (I game in bed) since most of heat dissipation will come from bottom and sides of the laptop and if blocked by a pillow or your lap you’ll get heat issues. Able to keep the core temp while running WoW around 58-62 C...not too bad for a laptop...my desktop rig hangs out at 52 C but that is less compact and has fans galore. Battery life is nothing to write home about, but I’m never expecting to game for any length of period unplugged anyways. Screen bleeding I don’t notice at all but I’m on a game with lots going on in the screen anyways, maybe if you play games with less going on you might notice? But I haven’t. Bought the i5 with 8g ram thinking I’d have to immediately upgrade to get the laptop to perform as well as my desktop setup, but I haven’t had to upgrade for what I’m using it for so far (WoW) and there’s not much difference. ... show more

Best bang for the buck. Bought the i5 despite few reviews on that version. Glad I did. Runs cool and quiet. Added an additional 8gb of ram and a cheap big sad. Runs ultra on everything
