I have been using UAG cases for years, but UAG seriously dropped the ball this time. I first bought the UAG Monarch Pro for my S24 Ultra, but quickly found that you cannot use the SPen with Magsafe accessories attached to the UAG Monarch Pro. So I needed a replacement that checked all the boxes that I've gone to UAG to for over the years. For me, those are: Durability - Obviously the topmost reason most people use cases. I want it to protect my phone. I wanted a brand that was drop tested. Dark and non-reflective around the camera lenses - Clear or reflective material around the lenses can in some lighting conditions, create their own lens flare or image distortions in photos. Big no. Gotta be dark around those lenses. Keeps the screen+protector off flat surfaces - I don't want my screen or protector scuffed when placing my phone face down on tables. There needs to be a raised lip. SPen and Charge Port accessibility - If I have to take off the case to fit a charge cable or retrieve the SPen, it's no good. Rugged appearance - I personally prefer my cases to look more towards the masculine side of things. I always had the leather UAG cases, but sadly those have been replaced with carbon fiber and Kevlar. Alas. And new on the wishlist for the S24 Ultra, I also wanted Magsafe so I could use a popsocket and magsafe car mount. Very soon after using the UAG Monarch Pro... I began to notice two things - 1 - The SPen had massive dead spots when I was using a magsafe accessory. 2 - My new resting place for my fingers on this phone meant I was smudging my cameras CONSTANTLY. I wanted a cover for them, preferably one built in to my replacement case. So on to research I went. I came across Supcase and found pretty good stuff everywhere I looked online. (CNet and PCMAG both had nice things to say about durability.) I am very happy to say this case checks every one of my wishlist boxes for a case, and it does it while being LESS THAN HALF the cost of a UAG Monarch Pro. I absolutely love the additional heft of this case thanks to the metal camera cover. Long gone are the days of me smudging the lenses while holding my phone. It keeps the majority of the dust away too. The metal is cool to the touch in the morning, which adds a nice tactile feeling. It also heats up wickedly in the sun - but thankfully behind the cover stays cool to the touch, so I'm not worried about the heat causing damage to the cameras. The grips on the edge of the case are good, nice and functional - but also easy to keep clean. (Another point over UAG, whose old grip was great but a nightmare to keep clean... And whose new cases pretty much lack grip entirely.) The raised lips are around the whole screen but they're more pronounced on the top and bottom - I have grown to like that. It makes interacting near the edge of the screen a little smoother while still offering screen down protection for flat surfaces. Another appreciated detail of this case VS UAG's Monarch Pro - the corners on the backside. The left and right edges on the Supcase are angled. This makes the case feel much more comfortable to hold in your hands compared to UAG, which is a very sharp right angle. There are very few right angles on this case, actually, and the result is something that fits in your hands no matter how you prefer to hold your phone. The magnet is QUITE strong. I've never felt like my phone is going to come unattached from magsafe mounts or popsockets. And it doesn't interfere at all with the SPen! (UAG's was weak and flimsy to boot.) The camera cover being used as a kickstand is a little wobbly, but it definitely works okay, provided your surface is level. It works better without anything attached to the Magsafe, though. Since I use a popsocket - I prefer that for propping my phone up so the cameras can stay protected. My only other nitpick would be the buttons - they don't feel great. They're kind of flimsy/wobbly and make noise if you tap/touch them with your fingers gently. But I've honestly gotten used to this. It's not a big deal. In the end, this case is everything I wanted it to be, and I'll definitely be grabbing a spare when there's a sale, since I tend to keep my phones longer than your average person and I'm often left with little to no choices towards the end of the life of my device. If you've got a similar wishlist as mine - or you've found that UAG has gotten a little too comfortable as a company and a little too overpriced - I highly recommend giving this case a shot. Supcase has sold me and stolen the crown. UAG won't be getting another penny out of me. It's the end of an era and the dawn of a new one, and I can honestly say, long live the new king! This case is a lifesaver! I have the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and I have tried several cases with mediocre results. The phone is very heavy and other cases made it bulkier and heavier. This case is rugged yet slim. I bought it to go along with a MagSafe holder for my vehicle. It worked perfectly! I also love the way that it has a built in stand that also protects the camera lens in the back when closed. The color is rich and the case is durable. First off, the case is one of the coolest looking cases I've ever seen, but more importantly, extremely functional. Unlike other comments I've read, wireless charging seems to work flawlessly. The camera cut out was further cut down at the area closest to the magsafe charging circle in order to allow magsafe batteries and other larger devices to attach seamlessly. I just tested it with a run of the mill magsafe charger, and it works perfectly, at 15 watts charging and sits perfectly on the mount without moving. It fits tight enough that it'll never fall off in a car unless you pull it off deliberately. I would have given this five stars, except that I believe the metallic red paint on the back will eventually scratch, as well as the camera cover doing the same thing and my case will look somewhat less than new / perfect. My other bone of contention is that the case does not sit flat when you put it face up, and that's because of the camera cover. It's like I have to protect the case from damage rather than the case protecting the phone, but for what you pay, you get a lot of case here. The fact that the metal camera cover doubles as a horizontal phone stand, is outstanding. It's not really missing anything. You have a very protective, great looking / feeling case, MAGsafe charging, and a stand all in one. I just wish that the magsafe protocol would be more than 15 watts, because my Samsung S24 ultra can wirelessly charge at 25 watts, but that really has nothing to do with the case. ... show more

This seems to be a really well-designed, and well-built case. I do not own any official Apple Magsafe products, but the case works great with my third-party accessories. It does work with wireless charging. The magnets are nice and strong. And I have not experienced any issues with the S Pen, unlike other brands of cases. My only reservation with the case is the camera cover. It does provide great protection and works nicely as a kickstand. Just don't forget about it and think your camera is not working, like I did. LOL. If you take a lot of photos, you could just leave the camera cover open all of the time. ... show more
