  • Best Gaming Rig for the Price 😉
Great Gaming Laptop this Gaming Laptop has Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series of GPU but it requires some tweaking to activate it on the PC because Intel GPU is set for most tasks. I even tried it on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and it played great on best quality. But sometimes crashes when handling multiple tasks at the same time.... ... show more

  • Acer Broke My Computer With Their Own Update, Then Told Me to Pay for the Funeral
★☆☆☆☆ — Acer Broke My Computer With Their Own Update, Then Told Me to Pay for the Funeral Let me paint you a picture. You buy a laptop. You do everything right. You run the Crapper's own official BIOS update — because that's what responsible owners do. And Acer's software, Acer's code, Acer's bug corrupts your BIOS security and locks you out of your own machine. Not a virus. Not user error. Not Linux. Their. Update. Tool. And this isn't some dark corner mystery bug they couldn't have known about. This is a known defect. Documented. Reported. Sitting right there in the record while their support team looked me in the eye — metaphorically speaking — and blamed my operating system. Linux did it. Sure. The BIOS corruption that happened during your update routine is somehow the fault of my OS. That's not a diagnosis. That's a lie with a helpdesk ticket number attached to it. Then comes the resolution. Brace yourself. Ship it to us. Your dime. We'll have it back to you in a month — maybe. No local service. No advance swap. No loaner. No accountability. No acknowledgment that their software is the reason we're even having this conversation. Acer broke my computer. Acer knows they broke it. Acer wants me to pay to un-break what they broke. That's not a warranty. That's not support. That is a company that has decided its customers exist to absorb the cost of its own incompetence. I'm calling BS — and I have the credentials to back it up. I've been working on PCs since 1986. Not with them. On them. I've built machines, repaired laptops, worked a national service center for a major manufacturer, and put my hands on serious capital equipment — CT scanners, spectrophotometers, automated drug dispensing systems. I know the difference between user error and a manufacturer covering its own backside. I have never — not once across forty years — had a company detonate a customer's machine with their own tooling and then hand the customer the invoice for the crater. So here's the deal, Acer. You want to make this right? Two options. Unlock my machine — give me the key to the computer I own and you broke. Or give me my money back. That's it. That's the whole list. It isn't complicated. It isn't unreasonable. It's what any company with a shred of integrity would have led with instead of telling me to ship you my PC and wait a month. And about that security blame? I forgot more about security than your support team will ever know. NAVSecGru. Google it. The ball is in your court. The review stays up either way. Never again. Not a single Acer product. Not a monitor. Not a keyboard. Not a mousepad with their logo on it. ASUS exists. Buy that instead. You can thank me later. PS I have filed an FTC Complaint too ... show more

  • Great Laptop for productivity.
Price to Performance is pretty decent. It can be quiet when nothing is going on. Can start to feel warm when doing basic tasks. Battery is okay. Like 5 hours. It's pretty fast. Runs games like Need for Speed Unbound pretty well without DLSS. And the N logo looks cool.

  • Great option for the price.
Better than I expected, for now everything works very good, I played several games and I'm happy, the box included the laptop and the charger, I recommend you to buy a case to protect the laptop, and is a good option to have something more powerful in the future, you can add more Ram and another terabyte, soo for me is a 5/5. ... show more
