  • Love these ugly shoes
Color: Black Size: 9 Women/7 Men
I got these shoes for working in a bakery, it is my first food service job. On my first day I wore some cheap all black shoes from target but I was slipping and sliding EVERYWHERE. After my first day, I ordered these shoes and they came the next day. I love them. I love that they are ugly in a cute way. And if you are worried about slipping on the job? Not in these bad boys. There are some days where I wished these shoes weren’t as slip resistant as they are so I can just crash out and be put out of my misery. I’ve actually tried to slide and fall in these shoes just to feel something. But nothing. Didn’t even budge a little bit. They are also super comfortable for standing on your feet for 8 hours or more. Pair these with some knee high compression socks and you are golden. I look geriatric but I feel like I’m in my late 40s. Anyways, I love them and they are the best part of this terrible job. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • GREAT EVERYDAY SHOE
This review is for the women's Crocs. These ON THE CLOCK CROCS are extremely comfortable. Many reviews have mentioned the fact that you need to go a size up. My opinion of that is as follows. I feel they run true to whatever size you normally wear in regular shoes. My picture above shows you that the insole is 1 inch thick at the heel and then tapers off towards the toe to a thinner insole in the front. I wear a size 9 or 10 shoe depending on how it's made. Previously any of the Crocs I have purchased were a size 9. The best fit for me with the On The Clock Crocs is a size 10 woman's if I wear them with the provided spongy comfy insole. A size 10 would also apply to me if I wore them with socks, particularly heavy ones. My suggestion is to order whatever your normal shoe size is, not necessarily what you've worn before in Crocs. If you wear a half size I would definitely go to the next full size up. 9 1/2 order size 10. The insoles that come with them are wonderful nice and spongy and very comfy with a good support on your heel. If you were to take out that insole and purchase a cheaper thinner one they would provide you with approximately a half size more room in the shoe. I had also ordered a women's nine and as long as I took out the spongy 1-in thick insole they fit nicely. There are several ways to shrink or stretch the Crocs also. You can use hot water, hair dryer, clothes dryer or the Sun. Since the shoes are made from silicone rubber heat and cold affect the sizing. NEVER LEAVE THEM SITTING IN THE HOT SUN AS THEY WILL SHRINK. One way to stretch them out is to get a heavy pair of socks and get them wet and wear the shoes to stretch them. If you find you get a pair that is just a little bit too large adding an additional insole should take up the half size of too much room. What I really love about these shoes is that they're washable and I can wear them for anything I do from gardening to grocery shopping and they always look clean. I also got a container of Croc butter / shine wipe which is a sponge with special oil on it that you rub over the shoe and it shines them up and makes them look new again. It's about $10 but last a really really long time and it's well worth it. Before I had bunion surgery 15 years ago Crocs we're all I could wear without being in serious pain. As far as feet sweating, I only notice it occasionally and in all reality when my feet sweat it keeps the skin soft rather than being dried out. The heel of the shoe comes up as shown in the picture about level to your ankle bone on the side of your foot. They feel very secure if you get the right size or adjust them with the insoles as I stated above. Overtime and wearing them they basically conform to your foot with your natural body heat. Hope this helps and wasn't confusing. I actually ordered two different sizes and sent back the one that didn't fit. Amazon is wonderful about returns and it's always good to have two sizes side by side to compare. Have a blessed day. 🙏🐊🩰👞🥿 ... show more

  • So great for being on your feet all day!
Color: Black Size: 10 Women/8 Men
Crocs is one of the only companies these days that does what all quality companies used to be proud of: create a product that actually lasts the test of time. Not to mention, they truly stand behind them. I have never had a problem with any pair of Crocs that they did not handle if I contacted them - even if I bought them from a third party! Crocs is just an amazing company, full-stop. I long ago stopped caring that Crocs are ugly, when they single-handedly saved me from foot surgery! So eventually, every pair of shoes I own has been disposed of, and all that remain are various styles of Crocs. For everyday use, I generally like their Classic Clog, and I particularly love the variety of colors, because I am just a colorful person! However, in my line of work I usually need something hardier, with better traction. So 2 years ago, I ordered this pair (On The Clock Clog | Slip Resistant Work Shoes) and the Mercy Work Clog (as it was also indicated to be a great choice for those on their feet all day, as in nursing or similar). Right away, the Mercy was NOT going to work for me. I had actually tried it years earlier and didn't like it then either! They fit weirdly, the box tends to run small, and there are whole areas where parts of my feet just don't feel supported - pretty much from the "hinge" area to the back of the heel. I believe I still have them, but I don't even know where they are. I never wore them a second time! But these! These are AMAZING!! Not only did they get me through the incredibly busy and active 2 months of our busy season (which typically include 12 hour days of being on our feet) two years in a row, but they have held up to regular daily use the rest of the time as well! Two years! And I am a big girl who tends to go through other brands of shoes very quickly. You can see in the picture that the ruggedness of the tread is still going strong! Though it's true that my Classic Crocs have also put up with carrying my not-insignificant body weight year-after-year, it's not just the Croc shoes themselves that have held up this time, but also the cushion they put inside the "On The Clock Clog." (For the record, the version I am talking about has an insole they only refer to as "Dual Crocs Comfort." They have since come out with an "On The Clock Literide" that has a "Literide" insole. I have not tried those, and this review is not about that version.) Only a few months ago did the area under my heels begin to wear away on the insole (but just the fabric! You can see it in the picture.). And it's not even unusable, just irritating for a person who has a bit of a "Princess and the Pea" sensory issue. But because it was annoying me, I purchased several different insoles in various styles - I believe all of them being Dr. Scholl's, and all of them claiming to be for people who spent a lot of time on their feet every day. None of them have lasted for any amount of time. I could have bought an entirely new pair of these Crocs, even at full price on their website (this pair is much cheaper here, for some reason) for the price I paid for all of those insoles, and know they would have lasted for a couple of years! My complaints are few, but I will list them: -For one, though they were incredibly long lasting insoles, and I do acknowledge that I could have purchased an entirely new pair of shoes that included them for less money than I spent on the pile of garbage-quality Dr. Scholl's insoles, the part of me that hates waste doesn't really appreciate having to buy an entirely new pair of shoes just for the insoles! But I can't find any place where I can buy the Crocs insoles alone. -The color. I have a couple of issues with the colors. At least one of them may matter to you! 1) The black aren't *really* black. Even brand new, they weren't anywhere near as dark black as they look in the photos. They were always a muted sort of blackish, and immediately lighten and look dingy when dirty. Perhaps I could use their "Crocs Shine" cleaner, but I would basically have to do that every day for it to make any difference for the black On The Clock Clog, and that isn't feasible. For my job, I don't care too much about this, but since I'm wearing these for practically every occasion now, it would be nice if they could even reasonably pass for something a little bit classier than my job. I don't need them to be sexy or stylish, but if they could simply fade into the background, that would do. Unfortunately, because of how dirty and dingy they always look, they are noticeable in a bad way. (Note regarding the photo: I have never cleaned them, they are 2 years old, and my job is outdoors! So though you can definitely tell that it is a muted black, some of the discoloration is just due to heavy outdoor use. Judge accordingly!) 2) For me personally, I would LOVE more color options in general. Just because someone needs the shoes for work doesn't mean they need them to be a neutral color! Not to mention all the people who want to wear them outside of work. I'm disappointed in how rarely they offer this pair in any color besides black, navy, and white. And on the rare occasion that they do offer it in another color, it is usually some obnoxious pattern that I am not interested in anyway! It would be amazing if they could simply offer this in a variety of colors like they do their Classic Clog. -This isn't necessarily a complaint against Crocs (not sure), but when I've looked up "on the clock clog" in other places (like eBay, etc...), they oftentimes will show an entirely different style of Croc. Specifically, the Neria Pro II. I don't know if this is the seller mislabeling it, or if for some reason Crocs has the "On The Clock" name on some of their Neria Pro II shoes, but it has happened often enough that I feel like there must be some overall confusion that probably starts with Crocs themselves. I also have a pair of the Neria Pro II, and though they share some similarities to the "On The Clock," THEY ARE NOT THEM! They are not only unsupportive, but I've twisted my ankle several times while wearing them, so they are more of a hazard than a less supportive shoe would be in the first place. So be very careful when you order "On The Clock" Crocs that the pair you are ordering is the same pictured in this listing. That's it! Overall, these are very very good and supportive shoes that I whole-heartedly recommend! ... show more
