I was looking at upgrading my old Acer and settled on this model. It is way faster than my 11 year old laptop and can play the games I was unable. A previous game I was playing took about 15 minutes to load now loads in like 4 seconds.

This is a recent purchase and so far so good. With support for windows 10 ending in the fall (Sept 2025) my wife and I needed to purchase a new computer as our old laptop was 9 years old and could not be upgraded. We picked this laptop the Nitro V 16 for a few reasons. As we are both accountants (I'm semi retired) we can do all of our financial work and have access to modern programs as needed and It is powerful enough that we can enjoy modern PC gaming when we want....and I definitely want LOL! I will update this review after I have had more time to play around and really see what it can do. So far having fun and keeping the books balanced. 4 stars until I have more play time but so far....thumbs up! ... show more

Haven't had this laptop a long time yet, but I'm impressed with how stable this thing is in demanding games. Doesn't appear to thermal throttle or stutter. I like the expandability options. You can upgrade/exchange the ram if you want, and add/ exchange SSDs. Only slightly disappointed that the max wattage for the GPU is only 85 watts instead of most manufacturers going with 100-140 watts. That being said, I wanted no fuss and that's what I got.
