Fully charged out of the box. Came with a nice case and small lanyard. Checked accuracy and it was dead on. Magnet on side is quite strong and holds very well. The unit is light and well made. Have not used on the golf course yet, but based on everything else, I have no reason to believe it won't deliver in performance. Ordered it one day and it was delivered on time the very next day. Highly recommend as it is well built, accurate and priced well below higher end units.

This far exceeded my expectations. Very steady screen view with great lockability, it locks onto the pin (or whatever target you are lining up) and gives accurate distance. Smooth functioning, makes no noise and has no vibration. Works on up slopes and down slopes and the LCD screen gives you a bright crisp clear view. Very lightweight & small in size so it is easy to carry and the battery seems to run forever. High quality at a very fair price. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've been looking at rangefinders for the past month and decided to go with this one, as I wanted a product from a recognizable and reliable brand that was priced competitively. Was able to test it out during a scramble with friends last weekend and this product worked flawlessly. Modes are easy to switch between, display is very easy to read, and the magnet kept it attached to the cart even while riding through rough terrain. Had a friend using a more expensive, well-known brand rangefinder and our readings were always within 1-2 yards of each other, so this item is very accurate. The mode that gives a reading on uphill/downhill distances was especially useful. I'm very happy with this product and looking forward to getting more use out of it.

Updated after 6 uses.... This is still a decent product, especially for the price. I took 1 star away for a few reasons. 1- I'm still waiting for a rebate from the manufacturer. I don't know if it's coming. 2- The range finder can lock on to other nearby targets very quickly and give feedback as if it's locked onto the flag, so you have to have a rough idea of the yardage your looking for (within 10 yards) to make sure your not hitting something in the foreground or background 3-The build quality is good but it is a plastic case that doesn't feel heavy duty. I doubt it can handle a drop very well. I definitely don't want to try it. Received the product within a few days. Just used it for the first time in a golf scramble. The scope works really well and is easy to use. It quickly recognizes the flag and gives instant feedback. Solid magnet and a nice size that is comfortable in your hand and easy to store.

I recently picked up the Acer Golf Rangefinder (SW-RF700) and have been genuinely impressed with its performance, especially considering its competitive price point. First Impressions & Build Quality (4/5 stars) Out of the box, the Acer SW-RF700 feels surprisingly sturdy. It has a comfortable, ergonomic grip that fits well in the hand, and the rubberized casing provides a good sense of durability. It's not as premium-feeling as some of the high-end models, but it certainly doesn't feel cheap. It's lightweight enough to carry comfortably for 18 holes without adding bulk to my bag. The magnetic strip on the side is a brilliant touch for attaching it to a golf cart – a simple feature that makes a big difference in convenience. Accuracy & Speed (4.5/5 stars) This is where the Acer SW-RF700 truly shines for its price.
