Had this laptop for 7 days now and it's been good I've managed to watch YouTube and twitch on this thing and have multiple tabs open without no problem, also loads up pretty quick when opening up chrome or Google ext and I've gotten ps2 emulator games to run which is good, you can also change some settings that would make your laptop run faster or you could balance it so the battery wouldn't drain so fast around 5-3 hours if so, The laptop quality is pretty good looking for a laptop like this to run at 1080p but makes the colors of background images and widget look good to, Screen size is honestly perfect and quality change for me since I've been looking at a iPad perspective, But yeah had it for 7 days and it's for sure running good that's all I can say. ... show more

    • It's pretty good for this price
I was stuck on either this or the HP 14" with intel N150 and both, this laptop, and the HP would be pretty good. Obviously, Acer would be more expensive due to it having more ram and it's DDR5 too. Both laptops, assuming you got the right versions, have ram and m2 you can swap or add to in the future. Although, I wish this laptop came with more storage than 128GB. The 128 GB of storage is soldered on there too and while this means it'll be cheaper, I wouldn't have mind if they made this a tad bit more just so it can at least have a SSD if it can't do a m2. Although, the m.2 slot and the fact that the ram is soDIMM(meaning you can upgrade when ram prices go down) makes this a huge plus for me. Battery life is pretty good though. The keyboard and sound quality, however, is really bad, especially the sound quality. These speakers are the worst speakers I've ever heard from a laptop but it's audible and that's all that matters. Durability wise, I wish they gave the top cover of the laptop a clear coat or something because it can scratch easily. ... show more

The laptop arrived in perfect condition and everything works great. The screen looks sharp and bright, and the speakers sound surprisingly good for a laptop. Performance is smooth for everyday tasks and the build feels solid. Overall, a great device and I’m very happy with it. Highly recommended!

The this laptop is great. The screen is nice for the price, and if all feels ok overall. Port sellection is great and you get a DDR5 SODIMM slot (the processor is single-channel only) and an M.2 NVME slot for expandability. The 8-core processor is plenty for everyday use. However, everything is ruined by awful driver support. You are basically stuck with Windows 11 unless you want the touchpad, WiFi, function keys, and other stuff to not work at all. I'm so sad I cannot install a different OS in this computer as its harware would perform wonderfully outside Windows 11. Anyway, the laptop is great otherwise and I'm still happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • Laptop quality seems good, but not the MS pre-load
I was tossed with rating this. The laptop itself - meaning the actual hardware/unit - seems good; no issues. My gripe is the Microsoft Windows S Mode pre-load. To be fair: the description did mention MS S Mode ... I just didn't know what it was. Do yourself a favor and read-up on this first. If you're an autonomous individual who appreciates using your own brain and loading your own desired apps, etc. of your own choosing/wishes - do NOT get a computer pre-loaded with MS S Mode. In a quick nutshell: it forces the end user to have MS Edge/Bing be the computer's default web browser and search engine. Don't like that? Too bad. Want Google Chrome to be your default web browser instead? No can do. Its an Act of Congress to change it. I finally had to ask ChatGPT to explain the process of updating the web browser (perform an exorcism on S-Mode to scrub/cleanse from my computer) like I was a 5 year old. This is not the fault per sey of Acer so I feel bad for the limited stars. The computer itself is sleek and attractive and appears to be durable. The keyboard also includes the numeric sidebar at the right which sometimes is not included on some laptops, so that's great too. No crashes so far, so functionally it is working like a champ thus far. The price was good. My star-rating "dings" are, in essence, against Microsoft. ... show more
