Can't charge by USB standard or type C. Listing says you can, but ports do not have the lightning icon next to them. Love how light, but acer site does not recognize it as device they will allow software or drivers to be downloaded to.

Buyer beware - this laptop is manufactured to be sold ONLY in INDIA and Acer will NOT warranty it. You will not be able to download drivers for it either because the Acer Support site will NOT recognize the S/N or the SNID numbers. If you do reach out to Acer Support, they will send you a link to a page to upload your proof of purchase to prove it should be in warranty, but you can't submit the page because it will NOT recognize the SNID or S/L. It's a Catch-22. See attached image - even the Helpline No: is in INDIA. It's not a US service center; rather, it's a hotline directly to customer service in INDIA. I bought this to replace one I bought on Amazon in 8/2025 that died and it had the SAME issue. ... show more
