I had an Acer that was running out of storage space so I got this one, having been super happy with the current one. I must've gotten a lemon because this one is not working well for me. It goes to sleep after one minute which is super annoying when I'm trying to work (I do accounting so I'm back and forth between the laptop and spreadsheets). All of the settings are set to 10 minutes, Acer Support was not able to get it to change. The screen brightness doesn't work either, and set to all the way bright is hard on my eyes. The cursor has a mind of its own... I move it where I want to click and it drifts away and I end up clicking on something else that I have to undo. I made the cursor too big and I'm unable to make it smaller. Lots of little things like that which have added up. I love my old Acer and will try and make it work. I'll be returning this one. ... show more

Except the fact that it completely shuts off for absolutely no reason from time to time. Also charger stopped working after a few months. Quite annoying! Owner for 7 months now and at the time i bought it, the reviews were wonderful…. Maybe me wonder if they were paid 😒

I was looking for a computer for just the basics. I don't game. I watch movies, work, and email...boring stuff. From day one, I had problems. At first, it was the fact that the system took forever to connect to the WIFI. From there, it wouldn't power up properly. Then, the audio on my Zoom wouldn't connect. Then, the audio stopped connecting to my headphones. In general, the speakers on this computer are garbage...don't expect to hear much using the built-in speakers. I called customer service, and they had me download a bunch of drivers. That didn't work. Then, I had to reset the computer back to factory settings. That didn't work. Then I was going to have to send it in for repair. YIKES! I had not even had it for 3 months and only used it a handful of times as I was still using my old laptop due to all the problems with the Acer. Thank you, Amazon, for helping me resolve this problem, as Acer was useless. ... show more

The worst computer we’ve ever owned. Regularly won’t power on. Touch screen will stop working for no reason, even when enabled. Absolutely useless, functions about half the time. We’ve owned it for five months, it’s only used for basic stuff. There’s no excuse.

Just bought this laptop as soon as i get logged into everything it needs an update obviously. Start the update... almost 18 hours later it's still updating...I can't reset it, I can't shut it down, Just waiting for the battery to die... I've never had this problem with any other laptop..
