Purchased as a gift specifically for the touchscreen. This is NOT a touchscreen. If you purchase this, check the model number on the chromebook before you set it up. This is a Chromebook with a huge 15.6" screen and a full keyboard, including a number pad. I've never had a laptop with a touchscreen before, and I like it very much! Within 10 minutes of unboxing this little beauty, I had it up and running. I'm 76 years old and, while I consider myself reasonably tech savvy, I was still surprised at how easy it was. I only gave three stars for the touch screen because it took several tries for it to comply to commands, but I prefer using a "real" mouse, so I am using the mouse from my last Chromebook, which I had for seven years before I decided I needed to upgrade to a larger screen. Do not need to purchase a program or sign up for yearly program just to type a few letters or do a simple spreadsheet. Wish there was a online Manuel with a list of where to find the steps to do things. Spent time on YouTube looking for doing labels.
