I wanted something easy to surf with and read the newspaper and this is it. I needed a touchscreen with a good sized display and it has worked well. No bells and whistles, but for the cost the unit functions fine and does what i need it to.

Do not need to purchase a program or sign up for yearly program just to type a few letters or do a simple spreadsheet. Wish there was a online Manuel with a list of where to find the steps to do things. Spent time on YouTube looking for doing labels.

This was absolutely not a touchscreen Chromebook. I did look up the model and some of the Acer 315R touchscreen and some are not. Clearly I got one that was not. Very frustrating and a hassle to now return. My concern is that I won’t get all my money back because the shippers claims that there is a restocking fee. Hopefully this will be resolved. And for some reason, the touchscreen is popping up with a green checkmark after my review, but it certainly is not. ... show more

Ordered this for work at our food center and works great. It's only used for the internet to log on to the food bank's data base. Nice size screen for being a chromebook and the touchscreen works well. Our desktop and laptops at home are Acers and they work great, too.

Within 10 minutes of unboxing this little beauty, I had it up and running. I'm 76 years old and, while I consider myself reasonably tech savvy, I was still surprised at how easy it was. I only gave three stars for the touch screen because it took several tries for it to comply to commands, but I prefer using a "real" mouse, so I am using the mouse from my last Chromebook, which I had for seven years before I decided I needed to upgrade to a larger screen.
