My son initially had a computer set up for HW. We slowly integrated gaming like, Grounded, Robloxs, Gary’s Mod, etc. from Steam and an Xbox account. The old computer took FOREVER to download anything even to open Steam and forget about playing games without lag, loading and buffing. As mini PCs go, this one is pretty good, but there's one glaring issue... It has no USB-C port. I didn't realize that until it arrived, as I'm so accustomed to USB-C being standard on everything. This means I can't use my hub on it, which is frustrating. Yes, it has multiple other ports, so I can plug everything directly into it, but that's not the point. I have a hub set up at my desk so that I can plug any of my computers into it at any time and have access to all of the drives and devices plugged into the hub. In order to use this PC, I have to unplug stuff from my hub and plug it back directly into this PC. That's a pain for my use case scenario. I'm dinging a star for the lack of a USB-C port, but I think I'm just going to plug this one into my TV and leave it there to serve up media from an external drive via Plex. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a very well built and well designed mini pc. I especially appreciate the magnetized side panel that easily pops up and provides easy access to upgrade the RAM or NVME SSDs. I wish this was a more common feature among manufacturers! The turbo/normal/silent knob does actually function and reminds me of the really old PCs in the 90's that had a turbo button. How retro! It significantly increases performance while on turbo, and the fan noise does increase while on turbo, or shut off during silent. I ran a browser benchmark and I think the PC performed very well for what it is. The results are in my video. Overall I do recommend this PC. It's a great bang for the buck! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I received this PC a few days ago and have been testing it in various scenarios. The Good -Normal, every-day use such as browsing, word processing, watching movies, etc are handled very easily with this system. -Form factor is compact and attractive. It has changing RGB lights on the side of the system and around the power button. -Physical performance switch - around the power button, there is a selector that will select one of three modes: Silent, Auto, and Performance. I don't notice much difference in actual real-world performance, so it seems to mostly control the fan speed. That being said, I do think with such a small package it would be possible to encounter some thermal throttling if on silent mode, so the performance mode would have the advantage if the system is under prolonged periods of load. -Good port array. -Decent specs with 16GB of RAM and 512SSD -SSD benchmarks put it in the realm of 2500MB/s read and write. Not the fastest I have ever had, but respectable for the price point. -Was able to play all the games I threw at it. May not to be able to play on full settings, but it does a decent job. Bad: -When the fans get going hard, it can be a little noisy. -AAA games may not play very well, as there is no dedicated graphics card. However, if you know what you're buying, this shouldn't be a surprise. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I knew what it was when I purchased the system and it is much what I expected it to be. Note on support: I've used Ace Magician for several other systems at work and have been very pleased with the responsiveness of the support. They have been quick to respond (within 24 hours) and have resolved all of the issues I have encountered. I would recommend this system if it's for light gaming and normal, every-day use. Update: I've had a chance to use this a bit more and it is quite the capable little machine. I'm beginning to notice there is a difference between the different modes on the power switch. This machine comes infected with 2 viruses that are in the boot up section, so unless you're planning on doing a totally clean install don't even connect it to the internet with the malware that it comes with - nice little free gift -

Awesome size, great performance, two HDMI, 4 USB A and 1 USB C plus supports wired and wireless. The day before this arrived I found a warning online on Tom's Hardware that some of these came w/ malware. I tested and confirmed. Backdoor Win32/Bladabindi, a backdoor trojan running and it's also in the Windows recovery partition so a restore to factory doesn't clear it, even if you tell it to download the install directly from Microsoft. Yes, I tested this. Loses stars in value because of time needed to clean the malware and then test to verify it's really gone. Update Feb 16: Sadly, more trouble with this box, mostly related to the design. While the box has an outstanding cooling environment for the CPU, it has zero cooling for the nvme drive and memory which are on the back compartment. Yes, the nvme did come with a heat sink, but it's in an enclosed space on the opposite side of the awesome cooling fans with no way for the air to circulate. This has caused multiple crashes with the box thinking the nvme is no longer connected until it cools down. ... show more
