Love This Chest Rig – Well Built, Versatile, and Loaded With Features This ACETAC S.O.P. tactical chest rig earns every bit of 5 stars and is an outstanding piece of kit that punches well above its price point in terms of build quality and functionality. The layout is thoughtfully designed with dedicated 5.56/7.62 magazine pouches, a pistol pouch, wing pouches, and a MOLLE dangler pouch that together cover virtually every essential loadout need without feeling cluttered or overbuilt. The MOLLE compatibility across the rig opens up endless customization options for adding or reconfiguring pouches to match specific mission or range day requirements, and everything is positioned for natural, efficient access without having to dig or reach awkwardly for what you need. The construction feels genuinely solid—stitching is tight, the buckles and adjusters operate smoothly and hold their settings under movement, and the overall materials have a durable, quality feel that holds up to hard use without showing premature wear. The fit is adjustable enough to work comfortably over different body types and clothing layers including plate carriers. Whether you're running it on the range, for training, or as part of a serious preparedness loadout, this chest rig delivers reliable, well-organized performance that earns real confidence. A fantastic value for the feature set and build quality offered. Highly recommended.

The way it fits in the adjustability out of the boxes is great. It doesn’t weigh a lot and it’s very comfortable. The magazine retention is actually fantastic. Everything functions the way it’s supposed to and for the price point. This is really up there with big name brands.

High quality chest rig for a reasonable price. Most of the chest rig is awesome. The mag pouches fit mags snuggly. There's plenty of storage space despite it's small size. If you hunt with an AR type rifle, this is the rig for you. The rig is well made, and fits comfortably. Everything seems very durable and well thought out. Except The outside wing pouches. They are next to useless. Don't expect to use those two wing pouches. They are positioned under your straps so anything you try to put in them is pushed up against your body, and any time you take something out of those pouches the straps will cause them to collapse. Which means putting any back nto them is extremely difficult. Also, when you remove what was in the pouch the rig will no longer fit you the way it did because the strap has to pass over the item. The only thing that might work in those pouches is a radio with a separate mic. that stays in the pouch. Otherwise just toss those pouches in the trash. Everything else is awesome.

It's a good, high quality rig that feels very well made. Lots of good adjustment in the straps, I'm a pretty big guy and it's very comfortable. Comes with an elastic insert to hold 3 AR style mags, and has 2 integrated pistol mag pouches. Nice and lightweight, but feels very durable. The only thing I don't really like is the radio pouch. I use this best when I work medical at music festivals, and I use a radio. The pouch much be placed behind the straps, which means it's pressing into your body, making the rig feel a little lopsided. Something it keys the mic as well. That's my only real complaint.

Amazing set up for a cheap price. Comes in handy on the gun range in the Florida summers. Great substitute for a vest on hot days.

These photos are of what you can't see in the stock images: the up-close quality in fabric, stitching, zippers, and zipper pulls with heatshrink tubing. In short, this is a remarkably well-made product for the price. THIS IS NOT AIRSOFT-QUALITY GEAR. This is vastly superior. The zippers were smooth as silk when I received it and despite modest use still are. I will happily buy from Acetac in the future! Pros: I reached out to Acetac yesterday about their sourcing for multifamily fabric. They gave me the name of their manufacturer, which is a licensed Multicam fabric distributor in the United States. That puts them on par with far more expensive alternatives in terms of material selection. The rig itself is really high quality. I've rolled around with it for a couple of weeks and tried to beat it up a bit. That's what you're seeing above with just a little wipe down. The dangler pouch merits little additional comment beyond that it's of similar excellent quality with the main rig. The drain grommets are not symmetrical on the rig, but that didn't stop me from rigging a TQ holder with some spare shock cord. The black/white shock cord retains a pair of shears that ride in the main pouch. The loop patches are hearty and not yet prone to pilling. The buckles are all standard-sized and work with other manufacturers' products. Cons: The straps buckle over whatever is in the wing pouches. So whatever you put in there, make sure you intend for it to be there while you wear the rig. The "H" harness is a little thin (Costco card for reference), but not uncomfortably so. It can't be adjusted for height, so wherever the rig falls on your torso, that's about where it's going to stay.

Got this because they recommended we had one for a deployment, being a marine I’m pretty picky when it comes to my gear, but for the price and the quality I’d say you’re getting a pretty good deal, lasted me plenty of field ops and has been put through the ringer, so if you’re looking for a budget chest rig I would definitely recommend this one.

Great setup save one major design flaw, the radio pouches face backwards. It's either a flaw by design or a flaw of combat ignorance, makes no sense at all, field or vehicle operations. Almost returned it but it was easy enough to fix, just rip the stitches out of the velcro wings, flip them over, sew them back on, that's what I did. Beyond that it's a great chest rig for hunting. 3 stars for the trouble.
