great part at a GREAT price. To elaborate, the dealer wanted $850 to change this part in my mothers car. Being on a fixed income she could not afford the cost. My brother and I decided to do the repair ourselves. I checked the local parts stores and was quotes $170 for a remanufactures part. I found this part on Amazon for just over $100 and it was brand new. It arrive quickly and with the help of a Chiltons manual, we got the job done in about 4 hours. The alternator looks to be of good quality but after installing it the alternator is making a very loud humming noise and dropping the voltage to 12 volts.
