We damn near melted all the wiring In our car working with the plugs on the back of the alternator, one plug came out and shorted out against the housing and the burning began. I suppose it’s partially our fault because we had the battery hooked up, but this isn’t the first time we have done an alternator change. ... show more

    • Don’t waste money
Installed on my truck, and immediately had a slight bearing noise. Then after a week of driving, the truck died running down the road, and I took the alternator off and had it tested and it tested bad after only a week. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

    • Does not work properly
I bought this alternator while I was doing other work to the car so it didn’t get installed right away. When I did install it my amp meter goes all the way up on the gauge. You might say it’s the regulator but when I installed my old alternator which I replaced because a bearing was getting loud the gauge goes back to the normal range. So I have no idea on how to get warranty because Amazon says contact the vender and the center says to contact Amazon. Talk at out a run around. So no I would not recommend d buying this art and wouldn’t recommend buying AC/Delco on line!! I learned a lesson the hard way. ... show more
