I was thrilled when I got my Mini Mac Pro, but it needs some additional connections. I chose to purchase the Acasis M002 Pro in October 2025 so I would have two additional SSD hard drives for backups after watching many YouTube videos and doing other research. The extra ports were valuable and I had no problems until March 2026 The unit power system went out suddenly so I lost access to both backup drives. I reached out to the manufacturer for any suggestions for a solution. They did answer back and asked me to try two different methods to power it and make a video of my steps. I did that and sent that back. That was the last I heard from them. Of course, I am well outside the Amazon return window. I gave it two stars because it worked great for five months, but at $200.00 that is not much return. It is basically a paper weight now and my options are to spend another $200 or find a new solution. UPDATE: 03/26/2026 ACASIS RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW AND GAVE ME A FULL REFUND!! The product always deserved a 5-star rating on its merits as a docking station. I love this docking station and chose it because it received the best reviews on YouTube, so I was disappointed when it failed. I have REORDERED the same docking station. This time I purchased the Amazon 3-year protection to make sure I don't go through this again, but I expect it to be as good as it was the first time in providing excellent backups with the SSD's and the USB ports I need. Very disappointed with ACASIS support. 1.0 out of 5 stars Power Failure and Zero Customer Support – A Costly Disappointment! Originally, I was excited about this unit for its RAID SSD capabilities, card readers, and multiple ports, which integrated well with my Mac setup for efficient storage and connectivity. It seemed like a solid investment at $199, handling my workflow smoothly for the first few months. Update (February 2026): Less than a full year after purchasing this on September 17th, disaster hit. I entered my office to access the RAID SSDs, but couldn't find the folder on my Mac where they typically mount when connected. My keyboard also stopped working. At first, I thought the keyboard had failed, but during troubleshooting, I realized the power light on the side of the unit (housing the SSDs, card readers, and ports) was off. After extensive checks, it became clear the power component had completely died. Using the contact info from my Amazon order details, I reached out to the company multiple times through various channels, but got absolutely no response. Frustrated, I contacted Amazon customer service for help. While they couldn't directly connect with the company or facilitate a return/replacement, the supervisor kindly offered a substantial credit toward my original $199 purchase price. This allowed me to buy a different unit that better suits my needs. However, when setting up the new unit with the two SSDs from the old one, I discovered they too had been damaged by whatever short circuit fried the original device – despite it being connected to a UPS for surge protection. Fortunately, Western Digital/SanDisk is honoring their warranty, and the SSDs are being replaced through the RMA process. Overall, the lack of reliability and non-existent support from the manufacturer turned this into a nightmare. Right out of the box, setup was a breeze. This thing is SOLID and good in most every way. Comes with a screwdriver and a power plug and USB-C to USB-C cable, plus the connecting cable to the hub that looks to be rated 40GB/s. The Mac Mini slides into the nicely cusioned interior tightly but not too tight. The design is pretty spectacular, as even the screw for the SD enclosure has a back to it so it doesn't get lost. My two SSDs seem to be 30-40% faster than in the generic enclosures they were in previously, which I didn't expect. Having two inside the hub saves me a thunderbolt port on the back of the Mini. Not sure how useful having two DisplayPort adapters on the back is going to be for me. HDMI, USB-A, or almost anything else would have been better. The ports on the front are useful, though, and they supply power. And the SD-card readers are fast and excellent quality. The mini-SD even has that spring-push-in style. There is a power button on the side to cycle power for the Mac Mini, so that minor gripe of having to lift the device to get to the power button is solved. A bit of a nitpick is that there is a power light on the front beneath the power button, which I expect I will always leave turned on (since I want the Mac to see my SSDs at boot). It's tiny and bright blue. It's not as bright as other's I've seen, but it tends to catch my eye and clashes with the white LED on the front of the Mac Mini. I suspect I'll get used to it, but for now, I'll deduct a star from a perfect grade. I've tried many different hubs, and all were eventually returned. This one is the winner with the dual SSDs and the fact that on it's side, it takes up less shelf-space. The Mini Mac Pro look, works for me, as does the SD slots on top instead of in the front.

This compact dock for a M4 Mac mini has a compartment for two NVMe SSDs— that sets it apart from the other docks, especially if you need more storage, or if you would like to set up a convenient RAID 0 or RAID 1 or JBOD. I previously had a Satechi dock, which was fine, but the ACASIS dock’s ability to expand storage and add RAID was too attractive. Plus, it’s small, sturdy, and handsome enough, and it has plenty of ports.

The one I got I had to send back, because every time the monitor went to sleep, I would move the mouse or hit a key on the keyboard and it wouldn’t turn back on. I would have to disconnect the DisplayPort, plug it back in to another slot and then it wouldn’t turn back on. Another sleep issue was that the power button on the case would not work, it would remain on, no matter how many times I pressed that button for the blue led light to turn off, so I had to unplug the USB-C power cord for it to turn off, plug it back in for it to turn back on. This costs WAY TOO MUCH to act like this. The size looked cool. Setup was easy, but not sure how NVME works. Didn’t have any to test. QC on this thing is obviously problematic.

I just received the hub. Great build-solid. Hub ports work. However, Video displays are not being seen by the 2024 M4 Mini through the cross cable. . I did troubleshooting. Swapping HDMI cables to the M4 Mini port that works fine. Placing the Cables for a triple monitor setup, ehhhhh. Troubleshooting the hdmi cables sright to the hub ...ehhhhh! All monitor troubleshooting point back to the video putputs on the hub. Otherwise, the ports work for extra devices. No video at all!!! I got a 2cd Acasis sent by Amazon. Same...no video output at all. I went a got the Thunderbolt to HDMI dongles from BB and boom! Screens work! Sooooooo, Acasis Videp ports dont work with M4 Mac mini. Not compatible. HOwever, Awesome use of extra ssds, and other devices. However, access was slow. WHats the chance of 2 mucked up devices? Hmmmm more research indicates the HUB requires extra active and powered DP to HDMI adapters to make the monitors work. There is no firmware update for the hub on the Acasis site at this time! I checked. FOr less price I can get a different brand hub with the same Design.
