Was not at all expecting these to be anywhere near as high quality as they are! Outer fabric is soft, nice enough to use without a cover. Filling is soft and springy and holds it’s shape well. These are substantially better than more expensive “down alternative” throw pillows I’ve purchased. As a bonus, my 4-pack of pillows was delivered with several other packages which all sat outside in heavy rain for an entire day before they were brought inside. These were perfect for what I needed, I just use them for decorative Euros on my guest bed. They came vacuum packaged but fully fluffed up within 20 minutes or so. I did buy the next size up from my Euro sham which worked out well. I think if you went with the same size that it would not be full enough for your sham. ... show more

Just buy a size up from your pillow case measurement. Example 20x20 case demension and 22x22 pillow stuffer. Your pillows will be firm. Ignore the whiners about their buying experience.

These are way too overstuffed for inserts for throw pillows. Purchased the 22" sq for a 20" sq pillow as recommended and couldn't zip the zipper. No way could the pillow be "chopped," it was way too firm and fat. If looking for the designer "chopped" look of down for throw pillows, get alternative down inserts such as Pillowflex or Moonrest. Well worth the extra cost. The cover is soft and they are well made. The filling is not lumpy and they are definitely firm and supportive.
