First saw this and said, great- a stove cover! I need that. Never heard of a Noodle-board before, but love this. One of those things you didn't know you needed until you do. My recording studio has a small galley kitchen that's only used for coffee and microwave use. It also has a gas stove that's not used. I've often wished for more space when prepping food or storing items. Also an occasional serving tray for snacks, drinks, and dare-say pizza. The cover came nicely packed, with corner protectors. Included a screwdriver and the two handles. No damage. The Acacia wood is very pretty, and can actually be used on either side. In fact, I opted to put it with the side blocks facing down to keep it secure. Before putting it down I wiped the board down with a damp cloth. Just a slight brown dust. There was no funky smell, just the wood itself. I may of been ignorant of noodle boards, but the wife wasn't . She saw it, and asked "where'd you'd get the noodle board?" Then promptly said: "that's going in our kitchen." . Now, I need another noodle board! Well done and lovely to look at .Easily 5 stars

The size and the color are as described, but I must have been sent a returned item because there are only 2 screws when there should be 4 and the screws are not long enough to even hold the handels on. I will need to go to lowes and get longer ones. Its not worth the effort to send it back.

Looks great but some of the brads poke through the opposite side. Had to tap them down. I recommend using a cutting board wax to preserve it.

I recently moved thanks to a hurricane destroying my place. Not only am I redecorating and getting the whole kitchen set up again, I'm on the hunt for anything to help tone down the all marble and stainless steel high sheen kitchen in the new place. So, I was very happy to be offered this board in one of my favorite woods. Like I said in the title, the listing images do not do this justice. It's all natural and absolutely beautiful, as you can see in my picture. Man I love the smell of acacia. Opening the package was like a little treat. But long after that goes away, I'm going to love walking into the kitchen and seeing this. The extra usable counter space right next to the sink isn't going to hurt either. I expect this is going to require some care, but I'm always prepared for that as all my cutting boards and a lot of my serving platters are wood. I expect with the same care I give those, this will last just as long, and some of those cutting boards I've had for over 30 years. If you want a noodle board, I can't imagine you'd be disappointed in this one. I love it.

This is a solid, great looking piece of wood!! I am very impressed with the quality and the weight of this product! For our stovetop, it works best "upside down"....meaning the raised edges on the side face down. But that's ok....we can get screws to fit the handles that way. The only thing I was surprised in a negative way is that it doesn't seem very glossy....seems like I need to coat it with an oil or something (neither side was glossy). This is certainly a great looking piece though, and we LOVE the added "counter space"!!!

I honestly do not use my stove much for cooking, so it is more of a nuisance than a useful item. This cover is great, as it transforms it into additional storage and workspace. Plus, it is very classy looking, as well! I often use a toaster oven (since I am single and am only cooking for one), and it fits perfectly on this cover. So, this is a great addition to my kitchen!

This just makes the whole kitchen look more tidy and also doubles as a cutting board. Looks like real acacia wood but I’m no expert. Mine definitely is similar to the one in the picture (obviously not the exact same since wood is different each piece). Double as a prep surface/cutting board making the kitchen that much more useable. Highly recommended
