UPDATE: Noticed today that it was sitting awkward on the stove, upon inspection there are now multiple crakes and breaks along with a complete bow in the wood. I was curious how they didn't get it level at mentioned below but now it's clear this is some other type of cheap green wood that isn't suited for anything long term. May want to look elsewhere if you want something lasting. This isn't it. Fits my stove very well, make sure you apply the little rubber tabs/feet so it doesn't slide around. Color looks great, wood isn't 100% level and smooth between where the wood is connecting but for the price point and what I was expecting it is fine and is useable without any issues.

This looks great as far as the color matches my Glenwood Beech cabinets the closest over the other options I saw. It does fit over my burners, but barely. Mine are a full 29" across and I had trouble finding a board that was that wide on the interior dimension at all, which was largely what led me to buy this one. I had no issues with damage or warping and feel the price of $70 is right for the quality. It doesn't sit all the way down against the ceramic top but it does cover the burners and is level. It just sits a tiny bit high. I'm hoping the wood might compress and form to the shape of my burners over time. If it was 29 and just a quarter inch wider it would probably fit like a glove. I have a GE 30" Freestanding stove with the 3 long grates, with the griddle in the middle, so the grates take up the entire stove top to create a flat level surface without much wiggle room on the sides. I will be keeping it, although I don't think I would use it as a cutting board. It seems like it would be pretty scratched up fast that way. Mostly I like that when using a cutting board on the stove, the noodle board will protect junk from falling down between the grates and forcing me to clean a stove I never turned on! It does have 3 holes in the front of it, as if a handle goes there, but it didn't come with one. I like that I have the option and may consider adding one just for looks. It does also come with four rubber circles to protect your stovetop at the corners too, which I obviously didn't need. As others have stated, if you cook a lot, you probably won't like it. You have to clear the junk off and find a place to put it while you're cooking, but I rarely cook, especially in summer in AZ so I don't foresee it being a big PIA. I like that you could also place it on your table when doing a spread to give a little height. You could flip it over so that it's easy to carry multiple items to the table as well, like a large server. Lastly, it seems like a pretty good weapon to fling at an intruder like a frisbee fatale, which might be easier to do with a handle attached now that I think about it.

I like this as it is a nice addition to my stove. Looks better, to me, than staring at the stove burners. My stove is black and no matter how much you clean it you can still see streaks when the light hits it just right. This fits on top of my stove pretty well. I wish it came with little rubber or padded stick ons that you can place on the corners. It does tend to want to slide because the edges of my stove are rounded but it doesn't slide off. It just slides slightly to one side or the other making it off center and that drives me nuts because I'm OCD. I will definitely get something to stick on the 4 corners to keep it more steady but overall I like it. I received it on time and it had no scratches or damages. It does have 3 small equal size holes (about the size of a pencil eraser) on the edges on two sides of it. I'm not exactly sure what the reasoning is for that but it's not really noticeable unless you're just looking for it.

The media could not be loaded. Heavy, solid, beautiful wood! Sure, the channels are a little rough, so what - this board is GORGEOUS! Others have complained of ‘chipped veneer’, but this solid wood is harder than bamboo and may be damaged into thin chips - sand it or have a professional do it, and re-treat the wood according to food-safe guidelines. Beautiful gorgeous noodle board - absolutely would recommend based on its appearance and weight alone.

The board is descent with a nice finish. I don’t suggest using it as a cutting board. I have not done so myself because it doesn’t seem like it would fair well. My issues are twofold. First, it has a half-dollar sized repair to the top which takes away from the finish which is chipping away after two days. Second, the board has a slight warp. But it does serve my purpose of more counter top room in a small kitchen.
