Very disappointed so far. When I researched if it had USA plug or not it said it did. It does not. It has a European plug. Also the intake tubes are loose and do not stay in place. It might be alright the prefilter in place it might help keep it in place. I will update after I get a converter for the plug. I was really looking forward to this filter. Unfortunately it would cost hundreds of dollars to send this back. So buyers beware. ... show more

Unit recieved is for use in Europe, 220-240 volt. Voltage not stated on the site. Amazon says I have to ship back on my dime. $ 308.00 to ship back a $ 52.00 wrong voltage item.

Buyer be aware the prong is ac 50 Germany I didn’t see it when I bought it it’s not right up front I’m in the US will not work here! Will have to return!

    • I thought fluval was supposed to be good
Turned on my computer at 2 in the morning to tell you what a terrible product this thing is. I constantly have to unplug it and replug it in to flow properly. Most of the time I have to empty it completely, to pull out the motor and then pull/spin the motor with my finger to get it working again. When I started in the hobby I've always thought of fluval as a respected brand, but after just two experiences with their products I don't think I'll ever buy anything from them again unless they respond to this. ... show more
