I couldn't find this connector at my local hardware store so I was forced to buy it off amazon. The product is made from thick, heavy duty metal and it will last decades. I would have preferred a silver connector instead of the black, but this is a minor issue,

I used this to combine two 4 inch ducts into a single 6 inch roof cap. It fit perfect on the six inch cap. I put a screw through it though it wasn't needed. Ad tape to seal the seam and youre good to go. I was impressed with this units quality.
