Great winch. Great price. Install went very well. In the first picture you will notice the solenoid box mounted on top of the winch. The bumper clearance did not allow proper distance for for the wires that come out of the box. There was no room. So I bought extension wires (Harbor Freight power inverter 6’, 2 ga wires). I mounted the solenoid box under the hood between the battery and fuse box on my 08 Jeep Wrangler JK. I used the short cables to attach to the battery and 4 longer cables to the winch. I had to open the solenoid box prior to install to switch up the wires. Don’t loose track of the colors on the ends! Now it has a clean look with no box on top. The winch works great and the wireless remote is great! With the wireless remote I don’t have to worry about popping the hood to attach the pendant. ... show more

I would have given a 5-star review but the roller for the front of the winch does not mount to the winch and you must fabricate a bracket to mount it to the front of the winch... Works great used it several times already..

The unit looks great. I purchased a much heavier unit than I needed. I wanted this unit to pull a disabled car into my garage and on to a lift (lowered) to be able to do repairs. But there is not a feed to evenly distribute the rope as it is pulled back into the unit.

Wired following the directions and had no issues. The wireless remote works great as does the wired. Use it for recovery and dragging logs out of the woods (overkill for logs but who cares.)

had to modify the control box mounting due to restriction on space. need at least 2 people to install long time for delevery Have not used yet, but everything works nice that they included 2 remotes. If you are installing behind bumper be aware that cord connection and winch release will be hard to use ... show more
