  • Huge improvement over Joy-Cons - Comfy and quality!
Color: Blue
The N6 is a solid upgrade over the Joy-Cons included with the Switch 2. Comfort is an A+ compared to the stock setup. I play exclusively in handheld mode, and the Joy-Con 2 isn't exactly an ergonomic dream. It's definitely an improvement over the first generation Joy-Con, but it's still a challenge playing with no grip. The N6 adds some much needed curves and fits great in the hand. I was a bit skeptical of the Switch sitting slightly above the controls, but it's actually been quite nice. The extra little bit of height brings it to a more comfortable viewing angle. Plastic feels quality and doesn't really add any appreciable weight over the Joy-Con 2. I went with the Gamecube color option because I'm a sucker for nostalgia, and I absolutely love the look of it. My personal favorite part of the build is the buttons - they're dead silent. The buttons have a nice bit of feedback when you press down on them, but they don't make a loud clack or mechanical click like some other controllers. I play 80% at night in bed, and the subtlety is seriously underrated. As far as functionality goes; The connection is wired and picked up right away once I turned on the Switch 2. The chat button works as expected, and the M button lets you use turbo controls. Rumble is solid and the back paddles work well. D-pad is responsive without ghost diagonals. The analog sticks are larger than Joy-Cons, feel smooth and have no cardinal snapping. I haven't had to give up any functionality as a handheld player, and so far it's been a great experience. Especially at the price, it's hard to recommend anything over the N6. If you prioritize ergonomics like myself, you'll be seriously impressed! ... show more

  • Quality Ergonomics!
Color: Blue
I usually don’t use my Nintendo Switch 2 handheld very often, preferring to keep it docked when I’m playing at home. However, when I do take it out, my current favourite controller is the Abxylute N6. The ergonomic design of this controller is truly outstanding—it fits your hands far better than the standard Joy-Cons, offering a level of comfort that’s simply incomparable. The difference in comfort is striking, making long gaming sessions much more enjoyable. The build quality is impressive as well. Although it’s made from plastic, it’s a high-quality, premium plastic that doesn’t attract fingerprints like cheaper materials do. Plus, it connects via USB-C, so you don’t have to worry about unreliable Bluetooth connections or constantly charging it, which is a common issue with many other controllers. My Switch 2 has a tempered glass screen protector installed, and when I slide it into the Abxylute N6, it fits perfectly, just like a glove, without the tempered glass causing any interference or fitting problems. One of the main reasons I chose this controller is because of the Hall effect sticks, which effectively eliminate the notorious Joy-Con drift issues that many Nintendo users face. The buttons themselves have a softer, more classic feel compared to the louder, clickier switches found on other controllers. They’re incredibly quiet but still provide a responsive and satisfying tactile experience. I also really appreciate the two programmable buttons on the back, which add a great deal of customization and convenience. Interestingly, the Switch 2 tablet protrudes slightly when inserted, and I find this off-centre position to be more ergonomic than using the regular Joy-Cons. Although it might feel unusual at first, trust me, this unique positioning actually enhances comfort and control. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. If you’re looking for a controller that offers a comfortable and immersive handheld gaming experience, the Abxylute N6 is definitely the one to choose. It combines excellent ergonomics, solid build quality, and thoughtful features that make it a standout option for any Switch 2 owner. ... show more

  • Great handheld Switch 2 controller!
Color: Black
The Abxylute N6 is fantastic for using your Switch 2 in handheld mode. I play a huge chunk of my games in handheld and this controller fits perfectly in my hands. Having it as one solid piece makes it feel more like a Switch Lite, in a good way. There's no more give between the controllers and the screen like you get with joycons. I also love how it connects via USB C so no need for pairing it or the use of batteries. One of my biggest fears is stick drift and the hall effect joysticks solve that problem. Everything feels responsive and I love how big the triggers are. I'm able to use the controller for long play sessions without my hands getting tired or uncomfortable. Definitely recommend this controller for anyone who plays their Switch 2 in handheld a lot! ... show more

  • A Must-Have for Handheld Players!
Color: Black
As a Switch player who spends 99% of my time playing in handheld mode, I was greatly disappointed in the ergonomics of the Switch 2. The original Switch was just the right size and weight where I could use the original joy cons without issue, despite their tiny joysticks! However, the Switch 2 not only grew larger vertically, but also on weight. Nintendo further made a strange decision to place a hard edge on the top outside part of the joy cons, making them dig into your palms during gaming sessions. Enter: Abxylute N6. This controller literally remedies all of Nintendo's poor design choices for the Switch 2 joy cons. The edges have nice compound curves, the overall height is shorter which helps with shoulder button usability, it's lightweight but feels high quality, and it has hall-effect joysticks that I won't have to worry about drifting! The N6 also adds GR and GL buttons to the back, which the Nintendo Pro Controller 2 also features, and lets you assign any other button to them. Very convenient for games like Stardew Valley that require a lot of shoulder bottom clicking. Some nice features include a texture on the back that gives you a good grip on the controller, larger ABXY buttons, much larger shoulder and trigger buttons with nice clicky feedback, a real D-pad, ports that direct the sound towards your ears (not your table/lap) and a dedicated Mode button for changing vibration strength. The only adjustment I had to make is that the Home button and C button are swapped on the N6. But after hitting C by mistake twice, my muscle memory quickly adjusted. All and all, if you're a handheld player, do yourself a favor and pick this up! ... show more

  • Great device just not for my hands.
Color: Black
I play in handheld mode 99% of the time so I wanted something that was bigger than the original joycons. The size of this thing is nice it fits in your hand very well. All the buttons feel nice not to mushy or clicky. The it looks awesome so cool. For my hands though personally it still game me that feeling I have with the original joycons I don’t know what it is. I wanted to like it so bad but after like 30 minutes I kept having to shake my hands. If you won’t have this problem with the regular joycons these will probably work for you. ... show more

  • Bluetooth doesn't work.
Color: Black
I really wanted to like this device. It looks great and feels good in my hands, and it has a fast response time with Switch 2. The one thing that kills it is having to use the app to update firmware. I tried two different devices, and I couldn't get the Bluetooth connection to work at all. I don't know if I got a defective device or what, but I will be returning it :( ... show more

  • Outstanding build quality and value
Color: Blue
I am big fan of abxylute, having already purchased the S9, M4 and now N6. Their products are unique - they mix and match the best ideas from other controllers and their design decisions are always on point. The body is very sturdy with no flex. The cutaway for the top is a great design decision - it allows for heat dissipation without introducing structural weakness. The switch 2 stays well secured with the silicon pads. I’m a huge fan of the GameCube color theme with the matte finish. The finish is especially important because 1) no fingerprints and 2) third party stick on grips adhere better (e.g. Playvital). Buttons have a premium feel. Button size and the L/R-stick placement are excellent. Stick height is the same as the Xbox controller. The abxy size and feel are most closely aligned with the RG406H handheld (see photos). None of the buttons feel mushy and the clicks are satisfying without being loud. The N6 is designed for fatigue free long play sessions and is built to last. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Still too small for large hands.
Color: Black
Everything is as advertised. Good button feel, and good stick control feel. It's also really good that it physically connects to the switch so you don't have to worry about charging it separate from the switch. My big negative for it though is for the main reason I got it, and that is ergonomics for large hands. While it's more comfortable then the Joycons, it still was too small in my palms for me to comfortably use the right hand stick. My hands would still cramp after 10 minutes of play. It's unfortunate that creators of products like these still want to restrict the size to keep it's "portability". ... show more
