I love this lock, as it's well made, quick to lock & unlock, mounts sturdily on the bike frame, the d-loop is large enough to enclose both the rear wheel "through the triangle" and the pipes of most security racks, and the cable is long enough (but not too long) to loop through the front wheel and frame & back. It's a heavy lock & cable combo, but my bike is pretty light, so it works well for me. Wanted a mini lock that I can carry in my backpack for daily use. The lock is great for low-mid level protection and its easy to use. It also comes with a cable. The lock holder diameter wasn't big enough to be installed in my Trek 7100 frame but that wasn't a big deal. High recommend!

This lock is great! I found the small size convenient to lock onto my bike while I'm riding. The cable is a little inflexible, and awkward to wrap around my bike frame, but is good for those situations where the lock is too small to wrap around the post. Great deal, cool color, and super sturdy!

I have a wider frame bike and have never been able to use a cryptonite lock on this bike, I've always had to strap it down. I got this lock after losing my previous lock and it was able to mount on pretty easily and solidly. It doesn't rotate or move around, very solid mount and abus is a great lock

As a daily commuter, I have found this U lock to meet all my needs. It's large enough to lock to most bike parking and posts, yet not too heavy to carry around everywhere. It's durable and holds up for a long time and resistant to theft. I've used this model for 4-5 years with one replacement after it locked up one winter (which has eventually happened to me with every kind of U-lock I have ever used). The lock itself is good, but it doesn't come with the Cobra lock like it is supposed to. The U lock portion is good, but it is missing the cable lock. This would be a good bang for your buck considering it is a silver rated lock, but since it doesn't come with the cobra cable it is just normal. Get it from a different listing. I asked about the missing cobra cable lock, they sent another package that was still missing it, a complete waste of time. The lock itself is good, just this seller is very untrustworthy. I bought this because Abus makes a fairly high quality lock and it matches the color of my bicycle. The cable doesn't really fit well, so I use a smaller vinyl wrapped steel cable to tie up the wheels with it. The bigger cable works great with this lock to keep my Honda EU2000 generator from walking away. ... show more
