This is a really good HEAVY DUTY lock. I’ve got an expensive electric bike. This is my primary bike lock because it will deter all but the most determined thieves. Because of that I use two locks because it will take a thief with a grinder a much longer time to try and steal my bike. My bike also has a very load alarm which goes off if the bike it moved or bumped. I’m always within earshot of the bike so I will know if someone tries to mess with it.     • Arguably the best chain lock in the world
This is a heavy-duty lock that I use on my motorcycle. It is very pick-resistant, and can only be cut with an angle grinder taking a few minutes. It resists this type of cut better than any other lock, except the Kryptonite, which is its equal here. But the Kryptonite has problems with its key lock seizing up, so I chose this over the Kryptonite. There are plenty of stories about their locks not opening on the internet, but hardly any problems with the Abus locks. The sheath cover over the chain is very good and has held up well also.
