So glad I found this. I wanted a cable that I could use to connect both my bicycle tires with my u-lock. There are a lot of 4' (too short) and 6' (too long) cables out there, but this cable's ~56" length was perfect for my needs.

I chose this one over another popular brand, mainly because it offered a slightly longer length (140 cm = 55.5 in, or 4.5 ft versus 4 ft from the other brand). It's braided construction is stronger than twisted strands ... but other good cables are similarly constructed. No velcro strap ... but it can be coiled and wrapped such that a velcro tie is unnecessary. All in all, happy with this purchase. ... show more

I bought this to work with my Kryptonite New York - 16mm U-Lock (which is phenomenal by the way!). The Cable is thinner than expected compared to my Walmart Cable lock ($20) which included the padlock. But so far my bike still has both wheels and it stays overnight OUTSIDE on Campus at the University of Kentucky, so after a month it is doing it's job. ... show more

While cables arenโ€™t super secure (cable cutters, not bolt cutters, can usually cut them likety split) this one is pretty nice. I have a quality Abus link lock to secure the frame then thread this through the wheels.

I'm using this with an Abus Granit X-Plus 540/160 HB 230 U-lock. So far my bicycle hasn't been stolen, so apparently these two items are working. It's long enough to go through my rear and front wheels and then to the U-lock. It is a bit bulky, but not bad. The velcro wrap is definitely useful for coiling it up when not in use. ... show more
