Absolutely terrible ! And I love abu Garcia products! But this rod is terrible very first cast flipping a jig as soon as the rod tip even slightly bent it snapped in half so I can’t really give a review on the real itself because I didn’t have an opportunity to really even use it before the tip of this pole completely snapped in half from absolutely no pressure even being applied so imagine hooking into a fish that’s any bigger than a pound and you would snap this thing clean. Very disappointed I’ve got Walmart rods that have stood up to the test of 10+ pound fish and this $130 Rod snaps and a half from zero pressure UPDATE. And when you try and get a refund abu Garcia will try and send you a rod less then half the price .. and Amazon will tell you they can’t do anything unless you return it .. I live in the sticks and don’t have a pickup available for a 7ft rods box ... ... show more

As with any reel beside and take care of it if you fish saltwater. It has been a good rod and reel.

I luv this rod and reel its very smooth ...I have several other combs but this is one of my favorite...I'd like to have several of this combs so I wouldn't have to switch out lures.
