I think you'd be better off buying an abu C model on ebay and getting a pole off craigslist. The reel is alright I suppose for the money, but the build quality is lacking and the cheap plastic parts make me wonder how long the reel will hold up.

You cant buy the reel for less than 100 looked around locally and just the reel alone was 116. The rod is a 2 piece so be aware they do have a one piece combo so just make sure you order the one you want.
