This is the second garlic press that I've reviewed. What I like about this one: 1) Longer grips, meaning you can apply more pressure. 2) The plug (part that presses down) doesn't have as much play. (This means there's less waste, with more garlic actually going through the press-plate.) What I don't like about this one: 1) Too many moving/removeable parts. (Things can jam more readily. Things will wear out quicker.) 2) The end of one of my handles has been forced, and has a jagged edge now. Therefore, while it's an improvement over the other one reviewed, it's not yet perfection. I'll keep looking & reviewing garlic presses. They are a very valuable tool to have in a kitchen. ... show more
