I'm very pleased with this product. It came quickly, set up easily, and is doing the job like a champ. My basement is so damp and smelly that I haven't wanted to work down there. I have had two smaller dehumidifiers running almost all the time without an appreciable difference. Just one day with this baby and the difference was amazing. The discharge water tube reaches quite a distance to my basement window and drains outside. It was a big investment for me, but I think it will be well worth it.

[UPDATE]: My dehumidifier has been active for three YEARS now. It still works well. My only intervention has been to replace the air filter -- with this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQXQK4X6. I've had this dehumidifier for three weeks now. I got it for personal use, to help with my damp unfinished basement. The basement is about 1,300 square feet. It has never flooded, but stays around 65% RH year-round. After running this dehumidifier non-stop for a day, the RH was about 60%. After one week of constant operation, the RH stayed in the 48-52% RH range. Now, I've set the device's humidistat to 50%. The device is active maybe 2/3 of the time, and the basement stays around 52% RH. I think that is adequate for storing books, photos and other paper items. The device itself seems to be a Chinese knock-off of the much more expensive US-made "Dri-Eaz Revolution LGR Commercial Dehumidifier". The devices look similar, but the Abestorm has a smaller air exhaust, located on the side, not the front. The Abestorm has a much smaller display, requiring you to scroll through its different functions. Also, it does not have a removeable power cord. I have no idea about the relative quality of the two devices. But I don't expect that this Abestorm device is truly suited for "commercial" use. It probably has very limited support. But as a homeowner, I'll take the risk. I'll update this review as time goes by, assuming the device stays on the market. The Abestorm brand has only been around for about a year, so it's hard to know how long they will stay in business.

I’m sick and tired of box store dehumidifiers that say 90 pint withdrawal, and quit working in 1-3 years. This unit is commercial grade. Fully automatic. Plug ‘n play (after routing discharge tube to a floor drain). I have a 1,600 sqft basement that is fairly dry anyway. This unit keeps it at 50%. No other unit could hold it there. It is quiet enough… yes I can hear the fan run but a lot of air is being moved. It is the sound of knowing it is working well.

It’s a great product. Three years after buying it, I had an issue with the fan not working. Customer support is US domestic, ticket based and they worked with me to track down the problem, come up with potential solutions and get the unit back online. Jackie was in charge of my case and actually emailed me out of the blue for updates to make sure that I was getting what I needed and close out the ticket. Remarkable experience!

The media could not be loaded. Great dehumidifier and wow what a great price. This dehumidifier pulls water like crazy from my basement and it even pumps it out. Great product and also runs very quiet.

Not the most durable dehumidifier. I think it's very susceptible to freezing so just a word of caution. but it does work. Time will tell wether this brand name will stick around
