What I like about Pauline Abdominal Binder Post Surgery Compression Support: The double tab closure makes it easier to wrap the Binder around your abdominal region: It also makes it easier to get the binder tabs to lay flat and better adjust the compression. The material is breathable and did not make me feel hot. I was able to move without feeling constricted. The fabric is thin enough you do not see it under my clothing keeping it discreet which is what I prefer. The binder is a softer compression which does not restrict breathing. The spandex fabric did not irritate my skin, even when worn directly on my skin. This product is latex free so you have one less unnecessary allergen. I wanted this binder for help with gentle compression on my hernia and it has helped. This binder is unisex for a man or woman. This is my second binder and the new Velcro double tags is a huge needed upgrade. But sizing is off, the large is more of what my 38inch waist needed. What I dislike about Pauline Abdominal Binder Post Surgery Compression Support: Sizing is still off. per the sizing chart a size 38 waist is a medium but this is to small for my 38 waist and leaves areas of exposed skin which creates lumps and adds in the fabric bunching.

I have owned numerous binders due to my back issues, so I feel like an expert at this point! I’d have to say that I really like this one, especially for the price. You can make it as tight as you want, the material is fairly thin so it is easy to cover up with most clothing, which is a big deal to me. I love the two front panels that are separated, as you can adjust them more easily to fit versus the one panel ones. The Velcro is really really strong. In fact, the only downside to this binder is that sometimes it is hard to get the Velcro to release when you want to take it off. It is not enough of a negative to ding points though. I’m super happy with this purchase.

The size Medium PAULINE Post Surgery Abdominal Binder Compression Support Band measures 9 inches in height and 37 inches in length. It has two 4.5 inch straps at one end, with each strap having a 2 x 4 inch strip of velcro for closure. I like the double strap closure cause it allows for easier adjustment. The band is very stretchy and comfortable to wear. Compression is very important post surgery as it helps to stabilize movement, promotes healing, reduces swelling and increases blood flow. Some reviewers have mentioned that after minimal use the area that the velcro closes on begins to look pilled or frayed. The manufacturer even makes note of it in their listing. Over the years I have used several different compression garments from other companies and the same happened to all of my abdominal garments, even those that had separate panels where the velcro closed. It is par for the course and doesn’t bother me. i got this for my back pain issues. I have a 36” waist, and got the size medium, according to the chart numbers. It just barely fits! There is about a 3” overlap, and that is when I have it cinched really tight, so I can barely breathe. The strong Velcro tabs also rip up the rest of the fabric right away, and I couldn’t see this lasting beyond a few weeks if worn every day. The tabs also pop up a bit at the ends, which I don’t like at all, and makes me feel like they are going to come undone. I clearly need a larger size, but the seller really needs to update their sizing charts to be more accurate.

This abdominal compression wrap is comfortable to wear, soft, and offers gentle compression. It is large enough to cover the entire abdominal area, and is easy to wear under even a t-shirt. The split "hook end" of the wrap allows some adjustability of the tightness of the wrap between top & bottom. That said, I have concerns for the durability, due to the design of the velcro. The hook side is stitched durably to the wrap, however there is no "loop" side to match up with the hooks - the hooks just grab onto the soft cotton weave of the wrap itself. This means that when you pull the hooks loose, it causes the fabric to "nap" and become fuzzy as it is slightly torn up by the hooks. I assume that eventually this will create durability issues, and the hooks will become clogged with thin fibers from the fabric and not hold as well. That's it, that's the review - thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Perfect little binder. It gives decent compression without being rigid. Easy to put on and wear. It does bunch a bit on the ends so I had to adjust it a bit over time. It's not one I would wear under clothing outside the house because it bunches up. Otherwise it's great for wearing over clothing around the house. Really happy with this binder.

This abdominal binder is much like many others- a basic band that stretches and is secured by Velcro. There is no “area” for the Velcro to hit ( like the other side of Velcro- one side rough and one side softer). It just attaches to the binder elastic fabric itself- tearing it up every time you put it on. In addition, the Velcro isn’t even all that “grabby” so it isn’t secure. Pass..this product isn’t worth it.

First time wearing this and it already looks like I've used this binder for months due to the velcro grip - see photos. Still, this binder does offer good light compression where I need it. It is easy to put on. It is a basic stretchy band with two velcro straps that can be attached anywhere on the binder, so the fit is adjustable. It is thin and lightweight so it can be worn under clothes. I wore this while experiencing a sore back and it did help me, even though this isn't made to be a back brace. I like to wear this when I have soreness because, at times, I don't need to wear a heavy brace. This binder is supportive yet very yielding with the flexibility to go on about my day. Since it's thin and light, I can wear this to bed as well. It will, even after one use, show wear on the top layer of the fabric. This is the only down side to this binder, and maybe this is typical of all surgical binders.
