While I should have read the description better, it does seem disingenuous to list the dimensions as the width between the bottom of the legs vs the size of the actual canopy - which is the part most of us actually care about. Luckily 6x6 is sufficient for our needs, but beware that the advertised size is not the actual canopy size, and read closely. Otherwise it seems reasonably sturdy. The top material is substantially thinner than the cheap Amazon brand version, and more in line with other less expensive models that I’ve owned, which is part of why I give 4 stars and not 5. The carry bag and included accessories are nice. None of these canopies are meant to stand up to a lot of wind or rain, and I would not expect this one to do so, either, but that is just the nature of the thing. If you want a canopy that will handle a lot of weather, you need a camping-style one that has tent-style poles, so that it can flex in the wind or under the weight of rain.

I'm 6'1 and I bought the 10x10. Very easy set up and take down by myself, the changeable height positions is a neat feature. The tent top fabric is the same ones goes in a normal retractable parasol, doesn't feel too sturdy but it should be okay as for a temporary/pop-up canopy. The sewing work on the VELCRO straps is not perfect, but it works. The wheeled case is awesome btw. Overall I got what I needed and expected, so I give 5 stars for overall.

It took us a little while to figure out how to set it up so the "two min set up" was not there the first time around. Disassemble was quicker. The bag weights do not come with anything to weigh the sides down so be prepared to add something. Regular bricks fit perfectly. The canopy was large, sturdy and kept us cool.

Purchased this item less than a month ago (delivered July 17, 2019) for my sons deck. The main reason we purchased this item was the claim, “Super strong steel commercial grade frame and strength truss bars are very sturdy.” We had a rain storm this past weekend (August 3, 2019), the frame bent. This newly purchased tent replaced one we had used for years with no bending. Looking on the website for warranty information, this says, “This warranty does not apply to any product that has been altered in any manner, nor does it apply to any damage due to wind, rain, snow or any act of nature.”. Please send us a new frame that is sturdy. We do like the blue top, with vent. We will change this review should this get resolved. Thank you.

The canopy was purchased for a camping trip out in the desert. It arrived quickly and upon unboxing I was immediately impressed with the canvas roller bag it came in. Upon first setup in my garage quality seemed good and the canopy itself seemed sturdy. It was also nice how easily the canopy went back into it's roller bag. While using it for the first time camping we managed to bend a couple of the scissor arms... completely my own fault, the canopy was set up and used in high winds (25+ mph) and was staked down at the feet. This caused undo stress on the scissor arms as the canopy acted like a sail that was bolted to the ground. After contacting the company about replacement parts and taking full blame for the damage to my surprise they quickly sent out an entirely new canopy instead of just the requested replacement arms (which appear to be easily replaceable by the user if need be.) I'm very satisfied with the canopy and the company. I think it's safe to say don't use any brand canopy in high winds and you will be just fine.

Will change my review after using it if the rest of the canopy meets expectations. When we received the package, the shipping packaging was good. After taking the frame out, one of the red push buttons for the legs fell off. We looked at it and the screw were stripped out. After investigating a repair, we repaired it with a quick piece of rubber to secure the screw. Upon further investigation all the other leg push buttons were stripped also. Here again, the hassle to ship back far outweighted the minimal fix. We then pulled the frame out to put the canopy on several caps on braces just began popping off. Sounds again like a minimal issue other than the Pop up did cost $129.00 and hasn't even been put up completely and used. We opted to spend a little more than a Walmart one, because we use our Pop Ups alot. The tote bag is very nice. We haul ours in our 5th wheel and the bag is strong and sturdy. If these small issues are all that end up being the issue, then I will change my review to a 4 star.

Surprised how sturdy it stayed in place after using at the beach with windy conditions. I didn’t use the weight bags but instead slightly buried the legs into sand and it never moved. Agree with another review that if people are 6’ tall it poses a head-bang from above but totally worth ducking to get underneath. But note- after you Velcro the corners DO NOT Velcro the small bar straps until it’s fully extended. The tarp is of nice sturdy materiel and the carry case has wheels which makes super easy to tote along.
