I was skeptical about paying this much for a canopy, but I’ve owned several cheaper ones and decided to give this one a try. It is heavy, but it also feels much stronger and better built than the others. I’ve used it several times, including during one of the heaviest downpours I have ever seen. It held up well and did not leak at all. Their customer service has also been excellent. I made a mistake while setting it up and one of the frame arms came loose. I emailed the company, and they responded quickly and are sending me the replacement parts at no charge. So far, I am very happy with the canopy and would recommend it highly.

First, I'll start by saying this canopy is excellent. I don't believe there is a better canopy on the market for the price. If you need something very lightweight and not very heavy duty, then look elsewhere. If you want something that will actually last, built on a true steel frame, get this canopy. I've done festivals, trade-shows, and outdoor markets of all kinds for the better part a year under this canopy, with an average use rate of three days per week. I often feel bad for many other canopy users, because their canopies limit them so severely. Your canopy is the bedrock of your setup, it supports your banners, your windwalls, your lights, and anything else you might need, and it does it all while resisting the elements. If you build your foundation on lightweight aluminum, then you haven't accounted for all the other factors in addition to Murphy's Law. I would advise everyone to get this canopy unless they are under a festival ordnance that requires another tent for uniformity purposes (very rare, but I've seen this happen, IMO this SHOULD be the tent required in those circumstances). This frame will withstand high winds with large banners and signed attached to it, each leg supports two proper stakes, and the wide base feet are ideal for use with weight bags. I have absolutely no trouble at all setting this up alone, and taking it down alone. I've done it probably close to 150 times. The trick is to place one corner where you want it, grab the opposite corner, lift, and stretch it into place. Once it is mostly expanded, press upward on the slider until it clicks into place, then click into place all the other corners. After that you simple lift each leg one at a time. I truly do not understand the people saying this is a difficult setup "even for two people." It's exceptionally easy for one person. Perhaps using more than one person unnecessarily complicates setup? In any case, when you take it down you do the same thing in reverse. First lower all four legs. Then unfasten the corner buttons. Grab one leg on any side, lift, and walk it toward the opposite leg. The entire tent will simply fold up. After that, bag the tent by swinging the bag behind your back, and applying it by sliding it over the top of your head onto the tent. This effectively guides the bag over the tent so that it can slide down onto the bag unhindered. The whole operation of take down or set up takes me easily less than three minutes moving at a normal pace. In addition, they do honor their manufacturer's warranty. I work mostly in Florida near the gulf, and we get very high wind gusts from time to time that can't be predicted. After six months of the harshest environment and repeated set ups and tear downs, the frame finally buckled slightly and could not fold up fully. This was a problem because it would not fit into the bag nor into our storage area for travel. They honored the one year warranty, refunded the cost, and sent a replacement. I almost felt bad because I can tell that every effort has been made for this design to be durable and affordable, and I don't like to take advantage of warranties in those circumstances if I can avoid it. However they gave absolutely no fuss. Now, with that said, understand that there are two, seemingly identical carrying bags for this canopy. My original canopy came with an incredibly heavy duty bag that looked exactly like that displayed in the images in the listings. When I received my second canopy, the bag was a complete joke. It looked identical to the original in every way, but was probably 1/5 the thickness and very poorly manufactured. It fell apart within two weeks. I'm not exaggerating. The first bag lasted six months and was still in near perfect condition, the second lasted only two weeks. The moment I received the new bag I immediately knew it was inferior quality, but I didn't realize just how bad it was until I had a chance to put it to use. So if you see reviews of some people enamored with the bag quality, and others complaining about how poor the exact same bag is, understand that it's because there are two versions of the bag. Which one you receive appears to be 100% luck of the draw. I've been looking for a way to purchase the quality version but the Amazon listing for the bag only appears to suffer the same problem - the seller called "#1 Instant Shelter" randomly distributes one version or the other, and most customers have no idea this is taking place. Shame on them for not being more transparent in this regard.

I have really enjoyed this canopy, especially the ease of use. I love how I can keep the tarp on it and be able to close it and put it in the travel bag. When the tent broke due to a crazy wind picking it up and smashing it into the fence, I was able to order new parts from the company instead of having to buy a whole new tent. This saved money. Also, the customer service was very responsive to help me with the replacement parts and sent it to me in time for my upcoming event. I highly recommend this tent.

The canopy I received from ABCCANOPY was missing 2 of the silver beads which lock the frame in place when set up. The mistake I made was not checking the canopy before storing in the garage. When I tried to use the canopy for an event and was not able to fully assemble, the timeframe to return to Amazon had passed. Below is the communication I have had with ABCCANOPY regarding the issue with their product. As of the date of this posting I have not resolved the issue and have a canopy that I cannot use. Order at your own risk. Jason: The canopy will not lock in place when opened all the way. I need to replace it. ABCCANOPY: Hello Jason, could you please send us some pictures of the issue parts? We will check about and reply ASAP. Thanks! Jason: Two of the push buttons are recessed in the square tubing and not accessible. The canopy is no longer usable. We have never used this canopy and the first time we attempt to set up it doesn't work. ABCCANOPY: Hello Jason, could you please send us a video to show us the issue that cannot work? Please send us by email. Our email address is shown in attachment. Please note your order number when email to us. We will check about and reply ASAP. Thank you! Jason: What is the status of this issue? Will you replace the canopy with a functioning one? Please advise. ABCCANOPY: Hello Jason, We checked our email box, we did received the pictures you sent to us, but no video. From the pictures you sent to us, we only found the issue leg. If just the push buttons are recessed, could you please check attached structure diagram and confirm is two-part J legs needs to be replaced? Do you agree we send you part J and you do replacement after received them? Thanks! Jason: I sent an email to [e-mail address removed] as requested and in my response, it was noted that video file was 57.5 MB. This is too large to send in email and in this Amazon chat. There are 2 legs which the push buttons are missing. I do not want to have to disassemble the canopy frame and install new legs. Please send a new frame and I will return the frame which does not work properly. I would be very appreciative if this could be resolved in a timely manner. ABCCANOPY: We have frame, could you accept $100 to get one. Jason: Why would I pay more money to fix a canopy I have never used? I will leave a review on Amazon explaining my experience with ABCCANOPY and will purchase a canopy from another supplier. ABCCANOPY: You need tow Part J legs, right? As replacement part will be send from overseas, it takes around 3-4 weeks to be delivered, are you willing to wait? If yes, as shipping fee is expensive, could you agree to pay some fee around $60? Thank you! Jason: I do not want to have to dissemble the legs and install new legs. This takes time and I may damage the frame in the process. My preference is to have a new complete frame. I can wait 3-4 weeks for shipping, and I'm more than happy to return the original frame so you can inspect and improve quality control as needed. If I have to pay for anything then do not proceed as I would rather use the money to purchase another canopy. Very Pleased wit the Customer Service. I had this canopy rip a seam somehow on a corner shortly afer I started using it and reached out to CS for assistance. Not ony did they send me a new top, but one that is better quality than the one I received initially. Very happy. The canopy is very nice as well.
