This canopy is A+ impressive. We've had it for two years now and it stays up in our backyard during the entire summer (in South Carolina). Our neighbors liked our idea so they set up their own canopy, but it was a different brand and collapsed in the wind within a week. The only time we've taken ours down is for the winter and once during a hurricane scare. Storms, winds, you name it - nothing is taking this thing down (when staked down). We don't even have the guy lines staked down, just the poles. After two years in the baking sun, it's probably about time to replace the canopy itself (the frame is still perfect), as it's gotten a little brittle, but we're going to wait until the end of the summer to do so. Also, pro tip when moving it with just two people - lower it to the lowest height and carry it by lifting the cross beams rather than awkwardly moving it leg by leg. Edit: almost three years in and we're about to buy a new canopy. The current one became so brittle it started ripping. The frame is still perfect, but unfortunately they don't sell replacement canopies for this model that I can find. That's still the only downside! If we didn't leave it up for about 8 months out of the year, I'm sure it would have lasted way longer.

The media could not be loaded. We recently had a Quest 10 x 10 Canopy that actually broke mid use because the frame metal bent and snapped while we were opening it. We use the canopy tent out on the beach to stay out of direct sunlight and actually keep it lowered on its first setting for maximum shade and privacy. I think it’s important to note that regardless of the height you lift the frame to, this ABC canopy provides 100sqft of shade. This is important because a lot of other 10 x 10 tents like our old Quest one only offer 64sqft of shaded space because while the frame base might be 10 x 10 the slant leg design reduces the amount of space and the canopy itself is not 10 x 10. The frame itself is extremely well made and sturdy. We love the large press buttons which make opening this frame a breeze. It was just the two of us and we had this tent up and secured within 5 minutes. The sand bag weights are an amazing bonus because they can be empty and weightless during transport but probably each hold about 20lbs of sand. With our old tent we had to lug around big heavy weights that cost about $40 in addition to the cost of the tent whereas these sand bag weights are included with the canopy. It also comes with stakes and tie downs so you have multiple ways to secure the tent. The canopy material is very thick and well made. The stitching is durable and the material is resilient. The optional (in the sense that you can choose not to open them) netted vents at the roof help create air flow inside the tent which is a really nice feature. Despite it being 100+ degree weather we felt very cool and comfortable. We love that the material has UPF protection and it wipes clean easily. It is heavy inside the bag but the weight is what gives the frame its sturdiness so it’s worth the hassle of transporting it. The wheels on the bag are not the best for pulling through sand. The back straps are more convenient but not exactly comfortable. Overall it’s a great value when you consider all the features and bonuses.

This canopy is perfect for occasional use, but it shouldn't be left outside for days or weeks at a time. We had a big, bulky metal-frame canopy/screenhouse in our yard for a few years. It was far too complicated to assemble regularly, so we left it assembled all the time and occasionally removed the fabric pieces. Well, we were too lazy to remove the fabric one day this spring, it got snowed on, and the whole thing collapsed, metal frame included! I bought this ABC Canopy as a replacement, assuming we would have to set it up and take it down every time we use it. I am a little concerned for the corner seems. No rips or tears yet, but they are under a lot of stress when the canopy is set up. My guess is this canopy will last a few seasons, but only with occasional use. And it definitely can't be left outside for a long time. The wind will blow this around. Heavy snow wouldn't be great, either. Fortunately, it is easy to set up and take down. With 2 people, it takes about 10 minutes to set up or take down, and you get better at it after a few times. It is easier and faster to work with if there are 3 or 4 people. It would be difficult with only one person. It's a good size, and it seems sturdy enough on the uneven flagstones in my yard.
