The media could not be loaded. We recently had a Quest 10 x 10 Canopy that actually broke mid use because the frame metal bent and snapped while we were opening it. We use the canopy tent out on the beach to stay out of direct sunlight and actually keep it lowered on its first setting for maximum shade and privacy. I think it’s important to note that regardless of the height you lift the frame to, this ABC canopy provides 100sqft of shade. This is important because a lot of other 10 x 10 tents like our old Quest one only offer 64sqft of shaded space because while the frame base might be 10 x 10 the slant leg design reduces the amount of space and the canopy itself is not 10 x 10. The frame itself is extremely well made and sturdy. We love the large press buttons which make opening this frame a breeze. It was just the two of us and we had this tent up and secured within 5 minutes. The sand bag weights are an amazing bonus because they can be empty and weightless during transport but probably each hold about 20lbs of sand. With our old tent we had to lug around big heavy weights that cost about $40 in addition to the cost of the tent whereas these sand bag weights are included with the canopy. It also comes with stakes and tie downs so you have multiple ways to secure the tent. The canopy material is very thick and well made. The stitching is durable and the material is resilient. The optional (in the sense that you can choose not to open them) netted vents at the roof help create air flow inside the tent which is a really nice feature. Despite it being 100+ degree weather we felt very cool and comfortable. We love that the material has UPF protection and it wipes clean easily. It is heavy inside the bag but the weight is what gives the frame its sturdiness so it’s worth the hassle of transporting it. The wheels on the bag are not the best for pulling through sand. The back straps are more convenient but not exactly comfortable. Overall it’s a great value when you consider all the features and bonuses. ... show more

Arrived when promised and was securely packaged. Very well designed and constructed. The frame with expandable scissor-type truss is quite sturdy. Each leg support has upper and lower easy to use thumb-locks for erecting the canopy and height adjustment. The instructions were simple and straightforward and it only took about 10 minutes for my wife and I to set it up. A really nice feature is the opening in the material at the peak of the canopy, which allows air to flow freely. Four "weight" bags are included. There are no instructions on how to use the bags, but it is evident that you insert something heavy inside each (e.g., a weight, brick, rock, gravel, etc.) and then secure them to the base of each leg with the included Velcro tab. Four metal stakes (essentially, large nails) and rope are provided for extra stability or anchoring of the canopy. The zippered storage bag is very nice and includes a plastic pull handle and two wheels. There are nylon straps attached to the bag so that you can hand-carry it or put it over your shoulder, but the Velcro tab designed to join them together is inadequate. Love this canopy, easy to put up and has withstood wind and rain with it tied to our fence and trellis. Way better quality than a more expensive one I purchased several months ago that broke within a months time. Definitely a better product. Do not buy this canopy from ABCCANOPY the price looks nice for the product and the carting bag looks great but it is total garbage . I used this pop up 3 times in the last 6-7 months and always in my screened in back yard lanai . On the 4th we had a BBQ it rained so we ran inside for about 20-30 minutes , it was the 1st time this thing saw any thing but sunshine . The canopy collapsed in on itself and bent 10-18 supports and broke a few brackets . I wasn’t too upset I was sure it was still under warranty. I called amazon they said I have to contact ABCCANOPY at first the services seem on point they were setting me up with some replacement parts , I finished asking questions and they verified what they were going to send me and then said I would need to pay shipping . I was at this point getting Leary and then ABCCANOPY proceeds to tell me the shipping is going to be $$60+ dollars . I argued said that ridiculous the whole Canopy was $100 with free shipping . I would never buy this thing again I’ll go to Wally store and buy their $60-70 pop up and when it breaks or fails throw it away ..it’s cheaper and I don’t have to deal with this ABCCANOPY company ever again . ... show more

Have sent 2 emails and 2 messages to ABC Canopy to discuss prior to leaving this review, with no response at all. Purchased 10x10 beach canopy for family vacation. Went up easy. Noticed on first day, there was a lot of lateral movement on the lateral members between the vertical legs. Didn't think anything of it. By 3rd day on beach (canopy was taken down every day and maybe was up for 6 hours each day) noticed that the constant flapping of the canopy was starting to form holes (pictured). Lateral supports were noticeably deformed. On the 4th day the canopy collapsed due to sides completely failing. Luckily noone was hurt. It should be noted that a cheap $80 canopy my parents brought along was right beside mine all 4 days and there's is still going strong. There were no strong wind gusts to speak of, a normal beach breeze. Which for a canopy described as a "beach" canopy, it would be able to withstand beach gusts as well. Borrowed a friends ABC Canpoy last year and it was a tank. Solid construction, heavy duty. Which is why i decided to purchase. This canopy was no where near the same quality. This canopy is a total loss, cannot be salvaged. Most frustrating part is absolutely no response AT ALL. Looking for them to honor the warranty, but hard to do when they won't return a message.
