I liked the sturdy feel of this fabric; it felt like better quality than what came with my grill canopy originally. I was able to treat it with a UV and water shield and the fabric took it up with no discoloration. My original canopy was from Lowe’s circa 2018 and this fit the lower tier perfectly. The little upper tier didn’t quite fit but we also no longer had the instructions from the original canopy so it may have very well been user error. I simply sewed some Velcro onto the corner that wouldn’t fit and now it works and isn’t noticeable. The hook tool that comes with this canopy is really helpful for getting it into the frame.

So close. In the item description it clearly states which frames the cover will fit. I just did not have a record of what I bought. They look the same but there are size differences. Gambeled and lost.

This is the third replacement canopy in a row that has blown out at the seams during installation. The end of the roof strut pushed through the corner of the pocket of the first two under its own tension. I didn’t even get that far with the third one. It just ripped apart like tissue paper when I was trying to stretch the pocket over the strut with the supplied tool. The original canopy was well constructed and installed without incident, but these replacements have all been garbage. The supplier gave me a replacement for the first one that failed, and refunded my money for the second one. Since I still needed a canopy for my shelter, I bought the third one in a different color in the hope that there might be a quality control problem that was specific to the color I had ordered. The third one was packaged differently and did indeed seem to have more robustly constructed seams, but they came apart if anything more easily. The structure remains solid and I don’t want to trash it and start over, but I am pretty much out of options at this point.

I got this in May of 22, here we are, March of 24 and this has been torn since January, so a bit less than 2 years, but 2 full seasons. Also, this is a canopy for a grill cover, I do use the grill year round so it's got to be something that can handle some elements. Take comfort in knowing that you get 2 good seasons of rain not ruining your grilling plans. It fits snug, but you have to use your good sense, retract the supports beams while installing this. Maybe get some help, 2-people definitely make install easier. UPDATE: March 10, 2024 (Added photo to show fade at 22-months, new canopy installed) So, this does fade, becomes more light pink than burgundy, dry rots and just starts falling apart in less than 2-years. The install was easier than I remembered from 2 years ago. You press the 4 tabs to take the vent top off and 4 more tabs to release the material. Extend the arms to lock back into place. With that vent top still off, press the main 4 lock tabs while pulling down and the the main canopy top is released. Slide the new one on and push up to add the tension and lock that into place. Hey, it's outdoor fabric and we don't expect it to last forever, but then I notice in the background, my smoker, that cover is at 2 winters already and it's still bright, intact and good looking. This canopy top is a $40/year proposition if you want it attractive and functional.

Bought this as a replacement for a grill canopy I bought from Walmart a couple years back. First, I was happy this vendor offered a choice of colors. I bought the Burgundy color which was very attractive. The one thing I can say about this canopy is that the quality far surpasses my original cover. I was going to replace this last year but the cover cost as much a buying an entire new unit. I wasn't expecting much at this price but the heaviness and obvious durability of this cover really exceeded my expectations. I'm considering buying a second one to replace in the future. My grill cover stays on year round and is exposed to the elements all year. This was an easy installation even though the cover fits snugly as it should. They include a tool for installation which I really didn't need to use but it is handy to have. As expected, I had to remove two legs of the top piece to fit the large lower cover on the frame. I am very happy with the results, the price and the quality of this product.

I really like the color grey on this. When my original one finally ripped from the windstorms we’ve been having this spring, I ordered this brand. The only difference with this canopy vs my old one is that the small top piece doesn’t have a hole in the middle for the top ball that screws into mine but I just didn’t put the ball back on top. The only thing that I don’t like about it, is that the edging isn’t thicker than the rest of the canopy like my old one had and it sags down. So when it’s raining outside, the water weighs the edges down and gets everything underneath it wet. So next time when I order, I will be double checking that part. It fits well too. It just doesn’t have as sturdy of edges but does the job for now! For the price of this, it’s definitely worth it than buying a whole new grill gazebo!
