I've had this canopy for over 2 years now. It's been to the Texas coast three times to use as beach shelter and I've used it 4 times at a long-term campground. It's been through wind, sand, blazing heat, and heavy storms. One folding hinge along the long side broke, so i put the pieces together and wrap it with a bungee cord. It works perfectly. This is a great design. The fold-out poles add quite a lot to the square footage and the dual canopies allow wind to pass through it. The dual canopies make it much more sturdy in windy conditions; rather than lifting up in a gust, the wind passes out the top of the canopy. The red push-buttons to raise the legs are super easy to operate, and the central press-up locking mechanism is ingenious and effective. The grommeted holes along the edge of the fabric allow for water to drain rather than forming heavy pools which will rip the fabric. Let's be real: This is not easy for one person to set up unless you're on a smooth floor. If using it outdoors, you'll need help pulling it out and raising it up evenly so that nothing twists or breaks. I certainly got my money's worth on this. The top is open so rain can come in. The top piece does overlap the bottom piece tho rain still blows in.Also there are grommet holes on each side. Not sure what they are for and rain comes in them also. Otherwise on a clear day its great!

This is second one. It sets on our deck in front of the pool. Very rarely take it down from April to October. So getting 2 years from first one lead me to repurchasing. It is easy to setup.

Over all this is a great product. We bought 2 of them. Sadly one only lasted 2 years , which we only use for a specific party so it lasted 4 uses. Anyway a gust of wind unexpectedly came by and bent one of the legs. To the point where there was no way to fix it. Sad to throw away something that still had life left. Buyer be aware… Amazon partners with USPS for shipment on this item. USPS would not deliver this to my door. I had to go pick it up myself, and as it was very heavy it was extremely difficult getting into my truck on my own.
