This was first. I have to admit I was intimidated, stuff that folds & requires patience, i fear. However, i broke it out of the box to give it a try right after delivery to see if I was gonna give up & return it, or keep it knowing I would use it in the field. I'm a dj, one that uses records which are sensitive to sunlight, and i got the 8x8 because it would fit my little set up perfectly. Plus seems easier to set up than a 10x10, but now I know it's just as easy. Anyways, i got it set up, by myself, in minutes. It was so fast i don't remember if it took me any time at all. Trick is, keep your canopy ON the frame when you are packing up, don't try fold it back up like I did, just leave it on the frame when you collapse it and put it back in the bag. Fits like a charm. I got the gray color canopy & like it. Gonna buy a wall for it to keep the sunshine off the vinyl. Also, I had it set up in moderate wind without using the pegs or sandbags it came with & it was still very secure. I needed something fast. So this fit the bill. It was very easy to put up. I'm 58, 5' 2" tall, and I'm not big on reading instructions ( I get that from my dad). And I did it myself in about 45min. It folds up easy as well. And comes with a carrying case with wheels. The material that the canopy is made of is cheaply/flimsy made, but it's not bad for the price. Mine came with 4 sandbags that you can fill up with sand and weigh it down which I really like. I just put bricks in mine. I also got the one with the mosquito netting. That's what I like the most. Now we can have a nice BBQ and eat outside without the nasty mosquitos that we have in the south. If you're looking for something that you need in a pinch and you don't have a lot of money to spend on those fancy canopies, this is what you need. ... show more

This is the 3rd 10’x10’ ABCanopy tent we purchased via Amazon the last few years. The first two are really great. They are sturdy, easy for two people (or four of us old folks) to open and setup. I have one mounted on my deck where I smoke meat, and one we use for beach vacations. The only negative thing is how easily sand and airborne particulate gets in the gears of the hand crank for the center pole. We ordered this one as a second beach tent, careful to order the same tent from the same manufacturer via the same Amazon. The legs are much flimsier, the plastic connections less sturdy, and the canvas top feels thinner and easier for the seams to split. This current version of the tent is fine for indoor use, but for use outside, especially where the wind can pick up a little, I recommend you keep looking. I would have gladly paid 10% to 15% more to get this tent built as well as the older versions. ... show more

This 8x8 canopy is being used on a weekly basis for a farmer's market event. It is very easy to set up and take down with 1 or 2 people. It is sturdy and worth the money spent. I had an issue with one of the legs during the first setup. The wind caught it awkwardly and bent one of the legs. I contacted the company to see if I could get a replacement leg. They responded quickly and worked with me to identify what I needed. I needed the canopy sooner than the replacement leg would have been shipped. They actually offered a 10x10 canopy as a replacement for the same price as replacing the one leg. This was one of the most efficient and prompt experiences I have ever had when dealing with a merchant. Would definitely recommend buying from them. ... show more
