This is better quality than I expected. I was a bit concerned that the seat would be too big since it was advertised to fit someone who weights up to 330 pounds. However, the seat, although roomy, was very comfortable yet firm. The split bar enables you to do a variety of workouts on arms and legs as well as abs. It's nice how the various workouts are printed on the seat - a great reminder of what to try next. The adjustable tension is perfect for me since I'm stronger on some excercises and much weaker on other. I'm 76 years old, active, flexible but I am losing strength and have started working out with weights this is the perfect addition to my morning routine. Since it's not easy for me to get down on the floor, I've modified some of the exercises by placing the Ab Trainer on a low, strong wooden coffee table. This allows me to do many of the exercises without getting down on my knee (which was replaced a few years ago and is a bit stiff since the surgery). It comes with elastic bands that velcro onto the frame of the trainer. These are fine, but not as high quality as the trainer itself. The tension on the trainer is adjusted by pushing in on the metal nub that protrudes from the row of holes. I have a table that adjusts in this same manner and I'm not able to put the nub in (no thumb strength) without using something narrow and hard (like a screwdriver handle). I was surprised that the nub on the trainer are much easier to push and I'm able to adjust the tension by only using my thumb to do so. It also folds easily and tucks between my bed and the wall. I've just it twice so far (had it for two days) and plan to keep using it. Hopefully this old lady can get some strength back!

How to call this more of a cross training type device than an ab machine. There are only one or two workouts that are listed that target the abdominals. The other workouts are not so much for resistance but as others have said maybe to at least get you started on some sort of a movement routine. It is a bit on the small side so if you are anything over 5'8" You might find that it's a bit awkward to use for any of the workouts that involve sitting or laying on it. It does fold up nice and compact and adjust as quickly and easy with the little adjustment buttons on each side. I will review this over time and adjust my score accordingly if I find other uses or it to be a valuable addition to my workout routine.

I love this addition to our home gym. Although sold as an ab machine, one of the best features is its versatility. This ab machine helps with muscle isolation for me when I’m doing sit ups because Lord knows my abdomen is not the same after 3 kids! It helps me do my sit ups and focus on my core with assistance. But I also love that it helps me with proper form and muscle isolation when I do push ups too! I believe there’s other exercises you can do with it as well. It comes with bands you can attach to it so you can do seated arm exercises. The padded seat is great, it’s basically delivered assembled already so it’s ready to use out the box. My athlete kids, husband and myself (of all varying athletic abilities) find this machine to be super useful and easy to use.

I love this ab machine! It’s so convenient and easy to use. I can move it around anywhere I need it to be and it makes working out easier on days when I need something a little lighter. It helps me to do workouts that I struggle with such as push ups and sit ups. It comes with some pictures of workouts on the machine and on a separate paper. This would be a great gift for someone who is just starting to work out or needs a little help. It’s very easy to set up and is very comfortable even on the most difficult workouts. It’s definitely not a machine for professionals or those looking for an intense workout. Overall I really like this machine and I use it really often so it’s worth it.

I ordered this in hopes it would be a catalyst for getting into an exercise routine. With its compact size, I do not find it cumbersome to use nor to store. It came fully assembled except for the resistance bands that attached easily. It came with printed exercises and has a few on the seat to guide you. The combination of the split grips allows for resistance on both sides of any exercise that I believe will strengthen and tone muscles quicker than traditional weights. Tension amount can be changed quickly using the number system on its handles. The hand grips are comfortable and give a solid grip. The machine may be used as a full body workout equally between upper n lower body. The seat is padded well and provides stability and proper posture to make the most of your sessions. Compact, convenient to use n store, it is made of quality materials and reasonably priced. Whether you are a gym rat or a newbie trying to improve your health, this is a valuable piece of equipment to meet your goals.

I love this device! It is great for back support for abdominal exercises and for push ups so far. I am excited to try the cycle exercise for when we are sitting and watching a movie as a family just to keep my blood moving as I use it. It has a good set of workouts pictured with it so you can come up with more ways to use it. I will say if you are building strength again, or for the first time, this is a great support device for you and I would recommend it to anyone. The price is worth it, you will get your money out of it.
