I installed this in my 2004 Nissan Titan beater as an upgrade to the standard factory stereo. I also added a backup camera to make life easier when backing the truck up and having to use the mirrors and the limited view over the tailgate to gauge proximity. The combo works a treat. The upgrade in sound quality, even with the tired factory speakers, is noticeable and I am looking for the best speaker upgrade to complement the head unit upgrade. I like the ease of integration with Android Auto for streaming music on the road and the navigation with Google Maps. It's also a simple Bluetooth connection to my HiBy R4 DAP when I don't want to stream from Amazon Music. The built-in amp has adequate power but when I replace the factory speakers I plan to go with an external amp and possibly add a sub under the rear seat. No issues with the installation - it's not my first rodeo and not the first ATOTO or Android head unit I have installed - and I used a Metra kit for the Titan that worked very well with the ATOTO head unit.

I've had an A6 Atoto headunit for over 6 years now and it has been rock solid. The only main issue I had with it was the lack of Android Auto and general OS updates. I decided to upgrade to this newer version because I want to make use phone integration and a much more updated version of Android. I must say that it meets my expectations and then some. Installation was straight forward on my Ford Escape 2004, no issues at all with the cabling. There's a small gap that's left around the installed screen, but that was the same with my old Atoto and most headunits with this particular car., so that's no fault of the product itself. Audio quality is very good. The speakers sound great when playing music, but most importantly the phone call audio is loud but not distorted and the microphone is very clear. I was able to install and use most of the Android apps that you would want, Spotify, Youtube music and the like with no issues. I even was able to run Netflix and amazon prime. Now for the most important part for me, the navigation. While Android Auto is a HUGE improvement over my old stereo, I found myself not needing it because of the 4G sim slot to give it internet. I decided to put my extra SIM that I had laying around and been using the unit's google maps directly, it works very well. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and I find myself discovering more features every day.

I have installed 3 Atoto head units in the same car in the past month. Every one of them were defective and had to be sent back. I even tried their "wonderful customer service" where I basically had so sitcand wait for a reply that basically tried to say that it was my fault for installing it incorrectly... I am a 55 year old Broadcast Engineer. I build and repair radio and television station studios and transmitters. Hooking up consumer electronics for me is child's play. For their support to continuously imply that the defective units were somehow mycfault over and over again was infuriating. One of the units was not keeping accurate time. It list about 2 minutes per hour. When I got in the car in the morning, it would always be 30 or more minutes behind. Again, they tried to say that I (probably) wired it incorrectly before asking for a videobof the malfunction. Seriously? How am i going to video it losing a couple of minutes per hour? Anyway... after 2 weeks of "troubleshooting" I decided to send it back and buy this more expensive model. This one arrived completely dead. I went over all of the power connections (WITH A METER) to the back of the radio. It absolutely has power and ground on the correct pins at the connector at the back of the radio. Short story long, they are sending me a replacement. This will be the 4th and final attempt to install an ATOTO product. If this one doesn't work, I will be installing a proper Pioneer, JVC, Alpine or some other well known brand. I really wanted an Android based unit but it may not happen. Final thoughts and takeaways: These are JUNK. Any time you have to go through 4 of them before getting one that works is awful. One defect is too many but every one of them? Customer Service? Yeah, you will get a response within 24 hours (except on weekends) but the one-line responses you get will be telling you that YOU didn't do something correctly. They are not helpful responses at all. I'm firmly convinced that with their useless "support" they are just running down the clock on the return window until you can't send it back. If you do buy anything from this brand, test it IMMEDIATELY to make sure it works so you have time to send it back... because I'm pretty sure the first one will not work. On the units I have had where the audio worked, the sound quality and power to the speakers was impressive. So, if you don't mind tearing your dash apart multiple times, go for it. These units are probably really cool if you can get one that works. Otherwise, avoid this brand and choose something that has proven reliable.

This car head unit, A6A7PFL has a lots of great features, although I won't be using them all. One of the features that I really like is a bright screen that allows easy viewing in day light. My main use is Android Auto. Once connected, AA works flawlessly; no sudden disconnection I had experienced with another Atoto unit F7, a low-end version. I did have some issues with AA re-connection to my phone once the truck restarted. It was resolved by clearing AA cache on my phone, Google Pixel 6. The customer service is excellent. The tech support responded to my question right away helping to resolve the issue. While I am not certain, it could be only because of my phone. This unit comes with so many high end functionalities that I have not tested. If you are looking for a head unit that supports its own mobile connection, this is a great one with a very reasonable price.
