This is large enough to transport 1-2 adult cats and still have room for food, water, and a small litterbox. I needed a crate for a foster cat and her 4 kittens, and this was big enough for all 5 of them, plus food and water, when the kittens were small. The base is waterproof, which comes in handy, and it has nonskid feet so kittens with the zoomies won't slide it around the floor. The frame collapses, not all that easily though. It's a tight fit inside the cover, which keeps it stable when it's put together, but that does make it harder to collapse. I would rather have the stability when it comes to a place for my pets to hang out, so I'm not too bothered that it is difficult to collapse. The openings are nice and large, so big that I can put a cat in a carrier, put the carrier inside the crate, zip it mostly up, and open the carrier. This could be used as a regular crate, or taken with on your road trip, or used as a shade structure at the park or beach with the flaps open. I suppose the cover could be removed and washed and replaced, but with as snug as the fit is, I would worry it might shrink. Most of it can be easily wiped down or sprayed with a sanitizing solution because parts are waterproof and other parts are mesh. As soon as I put it together, my housecat had to get in and check it out. Once I got it collapsed and moved it out of the way (super easy because it is very lightweight and has a built-in handle), my cat looked around for it. So it's cat-approved! ... show more

This crate took me a bit to figure out how to set it up, but once I did I think it would bit faster for me to do from here on out. However, I currently have it set up long term as the crate that will remain outside for my pup to use for shade. It's very easy to clean and is a great size for my 27lb Pomsky. I got this crate to use with my dog when we go to agility trials. I like it because it folds up neatly and doesn't take up a lot of room in my car and it easy to transport because it has a carry handle. It is easy to set up, you just unfold it and swing two of the inner arms into a slot and twist them in place. Taking it down to put away is also fast and easy. It's not heavy and bulky. It has sides that are open for my dog to see out and those also zip open too, but I will use the door on the end to put her in and let her out. If you have a destructive dog I wouldn't recommend this crate because a dog could chew their way out but if you have a dog who isn't destructive with their crates then this one is a nice one, especially if you want to use it for traveling. ... show more

I got this to use when my daughter comes over and brings her doggo. His crate, at home, it’s a 24” and this one is the same size. It’s has waterproof coating on the inside. It’s nice to have a choice of unzipping a long side or a short side. The zippers are sturdy and very smooth. It was pretty simple to put together. It’s very sturdy, once assembled. There’s isn’t anything keeping the poles in place except tension though. There’s no pockets or Velcro. The instructions shows it break down flat to store, but I chose to roll it up, like it initially arrived. It has Velcro straps to keep it rolled together. There is a small pocket on the back end, I keep the straps in there. There is also Velcro on the mesh doors to keep those rolled up when you have the door open. I’m quite pleased with it. It stores easily and doesn’t take up a ton of space. My grand dog likes it also, so that works! ... show more

I needed a dog create for emergencies and travel, but something that I can easily store in between. This crate is perfect! The assembly takes only a couple of minutes, the same For folding; and the storage space is very minimal. We were going to use this as our indoor kennel, but decided it was not sturdy enough. We have a Mini Schnauzer that has a wired kennel now. My other half had a dickens of a time trying to get this thing put together the pipes aren't easily connected and once you do it's still a bit wobbly.
