L’Oral Paris Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara is uniquely formulated to resist clumping, keep lashes soft, and build lashes up to 5x their natural thickness. Volume Maximizing Brush quickly thickens and builds lashes evenly for a full and bold look. Contains Panthenol and Ceramide-R and helps protect and condition lashes. Resists clumping and flaking, and leaves lashes supple and soft to the touch. Packaging may vary. What you receive may not be what is reflected on site. • Bold, volume building mascara • Up to 5x fuller lashes • Separates and builds every lash • Clump-free and Smudge- resistant mascara Place brush at base of lashes and gently sweep up to tip. I bought this mascara specifically for the Deep Burgundy color, hoping for a fun but subtle pop but honestly, it just looks black unless someone is right up in my personal space. The formula itself is great...nice volume, not too clumpy, applies smoothly....but the color payoff was a bit disappointing. However, I did finally see the burgundy… when I started crying. 🫠 Let me tell you, this is not waterproof and my toddler was thoroughly convinced I was bleeding from my eyeballs. So, if you want your mascara to stay put through emotional moments or toddler tantrums, this ain’t it. Great quality, just wish the color stood out more before the tears started rolling! 😂 ... show more

This is good quality mascara. I do not use the water proof, but this still stays in place and does not smudge or run unless you really get it wet. I've used it for many years. It has never burned my eyes or skin as I have sensitive eyes and skin! It works best to start at the base of your lashes and wiggle the wand back and forth for a few strokes and then work it out toward the tip of your lashes. I am also able to build on the thickness and length with this mascara. It isn't clumpy or a super builder for crazy long lashes, but looks natural while giving you longer lashes. ... show more

I wanted to try something different than black and I'm so glad I did! I have green eyes and the Burgundy didn't look vivid but enhanced my eyelashes as it's not a tubing mascara from L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara line! This is such a classic mascara that is moisturizing on the lashes, adds volume, adds length, and I can add separation when shimmying the lashes from the bottom slowly in an outward motion! Such a classic formula! I have tried the black before and now I can say I have tried the Burgundy mascara which looks great with a burgundy, cranberry, maroon, plum eyeliner such as MAC or many others on the market!! This would look good on Any color of eyes and skin tones! They have green and blue and a violet shade as well as their classic black and brown! I feel this mascara is less expensive than other L'Oreal mascaras but ALWAYS performs no matter what! ... show more

I used to use this mascara and loved it, so was excited to have it again. However, it is not like I remember, and it takes me double the time to apply now. It gets incredibly goopy in the container and is more mess than it's worth. I also have very naturally long eyelashes, and it just clumps them together which is a pain. If you love thus product, I'm very happy for you, but I'll continue to hunt for a mascara for me. ... show more

I'm a brunette with eyes that tend to be more on the orange side, and I love how the burgundy just makes my eyes pop. It's easy to apply and I never notice it getting clumpy which is a big plus.
