This was a very nice carrier and excellent value for the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-made and sturdy it was. The buckles on the shoulder straps/seat belt were very heavy duty metal, and the removable interior bottom actually has a thick piece of particle board vs thin cardboard inside of it. This bottom piece is zippered so that you can remove the soft plush cover to wash it (also a plus!) and inside is the board and a foam piece. The carrier unzips on both ends, the top, and the front which is great if you have a finicky kitty or pup who doesn't like getting in a carrier. One end is mesh, the other is not. This can be good or bad depending on what you want - does your cat/dog get scared and want to hide and feel secure or need to see out because they get scared in carriers and feel trapped. Keep in mind, though, this is only on one end. I was impressed with how flat this carrier folded down and how easily it could be stored this way. It's how I have it stored now in the closet and it's quite convenient; however, it also makes for the one negative I found with it, and it's very minor. The supports to hold the carrier up are in the ends that zip open and close, not in the body of the carrier. So, when you have one end zipped shut and one end open, allowing your cat to crawl inside, the end doesn't fully stay open because there is no support there. See attached photo. This can be remedied with some after market fiddling but it just bears mentioning. If both ends are zipped and you have the front or top open you are fine, as the supports to keep it upright are in the arch of the ends. I will say my cat immediately jumped into this carrier and began playing in it. She went into it through the front and ends (when they stayed open.) She had no problem with it when we zipped her up, and she had more than enough room inside (she weighs 7.75lb.) We have not, however, taken her anywhere in it yet, so I'm sure that will change her opinion of it. :) Overall, I would absolutely recommend this carrier. I was very pleased with the color, look, and quality of this item. Be aware of the ability of it to fold flat for storage being a plus/selling feature but also meaning the supports are not in the body of the carrier so the end might go a little wonky on you and you'll be happy.

Bought this for my fur baby’s first flight and thought it was going to be a problem well No its a really GREAT travel case! She was comfy in it shes 7lbs and was able to stand lay and sit comfortably. While on flight i sat case on lap and opened upper and front zipper and she felt so comfortable and relaxed! While walking through airport i kept upper zipper open and her on internal collar security clip and she did amazing just with her head popping out of it! It had nice bottom that doesnt flop and sturdy sides with metal frame that keeps shape so doesnt flop On ur dog but easy enough to get under seat while taking off and landing! Also has 2 nice pockets where i was able to put wee pads wipes and treats and still had room .

Amazing travel bag. I got the small size for my 9lb papillon when I was going to fly with him on United Airlines. He fits wonderfully and loves to lay in the bag even when we're not traveling. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a small foldable carrier that would fit in a backpack. The carrier is the size of a trapper keeper when folded and is easily stowed when not in use. The carrier is a semi hard shell that retains its shape. I used this carrier to rescue a four month old feral kitten. I would recommend this product for small animals similar in size to a 3 or 4 month old kitten. The item comes with a leash for connecting to a collar. I did not find this useful. The inner bottom pad was firm to provide stability but contained no cushion for the animal. The adjustable shoulder strap was wide and well constructed. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

Bought this to transport my new Maltese puppy. It was the perfect size for him with room to grow (he started out at 2.5 lbs. and is now 5 lbs.). He loves the soft crate and often will get into it for a nap when we're at home. The cushion on the board at the bottom was a little thin for my tastes, and with the Colorado winter coming, I purchased the Reversible Paw Print / Fleece Pet (Dog / Cat) Bed to insert on top of the board. I love the ease of use with the two openings (one on top and one on the end). *Edited to add: Correction on the two openings, it has three. I missed the opening on the side. Three sides are solid material and one long side is a strong mesh with mesh on top that even Cody's sharp puppy teeth couldn't chew through. That's saying a lot about the quality construction of this bag because Cody's already chewed through two collars and two harnesses. This bag is very light but extremely strong and well made. The only thing I would wish for to make it even better is that there could be a wire on the bag at the end that opens so that the top doesn't droop down when the end opening is open (if that makes any sense). Other than that small thing, which I can rectify on my own, I can't think of anything that would make this a better travel carrier. June 2021: Cody grew to 7 lbs. and this carrier was still being used. Then, we added a Havanese/Pomeranian to our family. Cody ate her puppy food and is now 11 lbs. so I purchased the large for him and used the medium for Bailey, the new pup. She rattled around in the medium (1.3 lbs) at first but grew into it. She's now 4 lbs. and 2 years old. She has taken over the large carrier as her bed. Both carriers are holding up well and show no sign of wear. I'm very impressed and very happy with both purchases.
