Note that this model does not include an internal rechargeable battery. There are other similar light pads which do include a battery at a higher price. I'm OK with using the included USB cable with one of my existing USB A chargers. But, if you're looking for a wireless, rechargeable light pad, this isn't the product. Otherwise, it works well. It turns out that all the LEDs are under the black side of this unit, shining toward the panel. That makes one end very bright and the other very dim. I suppose there might be some usage of this device where that would be sufficient, but I can't imagine what that might be. Hurray for easy returns!

Great for doing diamond art in the dark! Good size, very light weight, very sensitive power button just brushing over it will turn off, I bought power button covers and solved that problem. 3 light brightness levels is also good.
