The arch support placement is more like the Reebok verses the Nike shoe (arch is more towards the heel). Other reviews say that there is a break in period - they are correct - I found by the 3rd/4th time of heavy use the boot became quite comfortable. It has held up well in mud, water and walking through rock beds. There is a bit wear on the sole of my prominent foot, but nothing to be overly concerned with. I ordered 8.5 and have room to wear thick crew socks (highly recommend tall socks). Buy them, wear them - break them in and you will love them. These are my favorite boots. I’ve bought 3 pair over the years. They are comfortable right from the start and so cute for a work boot. They don’t hold up as well as I would like them to but I do wear them daily for work. They are my go-to for sure.

Very good arch support, comfortable and great looking. I have a lot of arthritis in my feet so boots are not usually comfortable but these are. A tad heavy. Sad that there is no loop in the back which helps so much when putting high top boots on.

I work on construction sites everyday in varied terrain and in and out of water. Had these boots for a couple months and I couldn’t be happier. Fit is true to size. They lace up and protect the ankles especially on hills and rocky terrain. I can attest that they are waterproof. I have been in water up to my ankles and not a drop made it in, not even near the laces and tongue. They are very comfortable and can be worn with thicker socks. I have been in concrete, walked on nails, hiked through woods, and slushed through mud. Although they are now a bit darker brown then when new, they have washed up easily and I don’t have any tears or scratches on them. Bonus is that they look good too.
