I bought this product simply because it was the same spec as the 8 gig stick that came in my HP pavilion gaming desktop. Taking a closer look at the modules on the stick I received revealed they use Samsung memory modules. There is no heat sink, which I believe is clear from the listing, so overclocking it may not be the best of ideas. Using it in my gaming PC I haven't had any issues with it. I would have preferred a faster kit for gaming or other CPU and RAM dependent workloads, but as I couldnt afford a 16 gigabyte kit of 3000Mhz, this is a great alternative, especially compared to the "official HP" compatible RAM they wanted me to get. All in all a good, so far reliable product. The official matching HP stick, which I must say looks EXACTLY like this stick, just different brand modules, was OVER 100 BUCKS! And the timings and speed are the same as well. Even the traces on the PCB match, slightly different color PCB is the biggest difference. Good quality, good price, happy customer here.

I love it and it is the exact model for my desktop pavilion HP. I wanted to add more space so I can continue my work. However, it was not what i expected when I ask FB community about it, and they know their work when I reupdate the Desktop. Now the dislike was the shipping it both my fault and shipment that it did not reach it destination about 11 days late. I should of add a note on the paper with my number and office information. Then the shipment fault that it did not came into the working time. again, it was both errors. but the result was it came in perfectly, fit in my desktop, and it did made changes to my desktop to go faster, but the memory did not improve. at least I upgrade the desktop and function very well.

Was easy to replace in my Dell XPS. Worked fine. For this price, I won't be shocked if they go bad on me in a few months - being RAM, you can at most, on your worst day, lose the work in progress (unsaved stuff).

Great value for what you are paying for. 0 issues, no errors etc. I also needed memory with no heat sync's because the memory was used in a SFF dell. With the layout on the MoBo the memory was directly under the ODD, HD cage and there is no room for memory that has heat sync's. Works great.

Arrived DOA. Very disappointing since this is the first 1* review for this item. Edit: confirmed. Put a equivalent Crucial Ballistix 2666mhz DDR4 stick in the same DIMM and it worked just fine. Immediately recognized by Windows 10.
